Probably the Ae.C.1 Triplaza without cabin-hood

When, John?
Some remarks on the first list:
44 Franklin PS-2 Glider
74 Douglas D-558-1 Skystreak, not Skyrocket
97 Douglas R4D-5, not R4D-8 (but there is also an R4D-8 in the collection, see attached picture)
Al
PS I’m still waiting for any corrections to my list, I can’t have got them all right!
Ok. Let’s start with your second list…:D

Before you mentioned this “rather well-known three-tailed brother” I thought it could be a Bellanca/Champion Citabria/Decathlon of sorts.
But now I’m confused…
Al
I must admit that it wasn’t that complicated.
I simply assumed that it had to be a more or less contemporary
french design, then I started to browse Aviafrance (great site!) by year,
starting with 1938.
I had no previous idea about design or purpose of the aircraft.

The answer lies within this thread, Jack.

Seems I could use up my WotPlane-cache for this year with so many “open houses” on one day.
Try this, then…
Good enough, wout.
It is, if I understand my sources correctly, the next design-step, the Makhonine Mak-101 with a different engine and other changes.

Thanks again, Chris.
The photos of Avis C.4 I found on the web…

This next one has been mentioned but apparently not shown in the WotPlane-Thread.

It seems that the L.V.G. C.VI shown in the photo is currently (still) under restoration at the Museum in Brussels.

I also have it as Avis C.4.
Thanks for pointing out the Caproni-Link.
You have control, Chris.
Al
Please don’t…:D
I know very little about the next one, just the name and the country of origin.
I failed to unearth more informations about it, except for three pictures on the Web of which you can see one here.
I throw it in because I hope to learn more about the type.
(Ok, the country of origin will by now be no secret to you anymore…;))
