Perhaps for some of you a visit to

is a good idea? 😉
The 2015-thread is about to be started…
…on the topic of Lockheed U-2s… 😉

…from about 2.20 you will hear engine-sounds. The second pass begins at 3.20 .
Walter Colby Productions shot this video in August of 2010 at Beale AFB California during the high flight of Sagar Pathak.
This U-2 & T-38 flight was in preparation for the High flight which occurred in the next few day.

World’s First Wingsuit High Five
And this is very low and VERY fast…

This is more of a fly-by and less of a “low pass” I think… 😉
Many thanks for keeping us updated on this project! :applause:
If I am correct we now have two airworthy Mig-15s in Europe?
Stirring up trouble :dev2:
There is no P-3 Orion at Soesterberg (yet).
And indeed, those hanging aircraft have caused some controversy among Dutch enthusiasts.
As far as they are concerned the National Military Museum is a step backwards.
Apparently there is less room now to display aircraft, and the storage area has now also become rather limited.

Some people from Australia may have seen this clip before.
low level flying in an Australian Army Pilatus Porter.
You may have seen this before as this short film was shown in cinemas as the trailer before the first Star Wars movie in the 1980s.
The Australian Army no longer flies Porter aircraft.
Hi All,
Halifax. Caption reads:- The last of the 710 Halifax’s built by the London Aircraft Production Group giving a low-level flying display after having been named “London Pride” on 16 April 1945.
Stratofreighter,
Is it me or did the Gatling gun have rouble tracking the Tornados ? Great video all the same.Geoff.
Indeed, the Phalanx / http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phalanx_CIWS didn’t quite follow that first Tornado effectively.
Thankfully this was just an exercise. 😉
Your Halifax picture somehow doesn’t seem to work.
A shame, because it is a very interesting one. 🙁

Type 42 destroyer HMS Exeter getting beat up by two RAF Tornado jets.
It looks as though God was with the passengers! The plane is owned by a church organization with a well know tele-evangelist, Creflo Dollar.
:applause: :highly_amused: Good find! A very interesting fact 😀
Are church-related repairs tax-deductable? :dev2:
Almost looks like a non incident according to this report. Sent a shiver through me considering the fatal 2008 crash.
Yep, and the high-quality photo at
http://www.airliners.net/photo/Gulfstream-Aerospace-G-1159A/2545472/
shows this certainly is not a minor incident. N103CD will need some serious repairs now… 🙁
It concerned an N-reg Gulfstream III (yes!).
