Commentators! 😀
Not sure who it was but last year some old chap kept rabiting on about the Chipmunk being in the wrong colours and if it was him he would have it re sprayed???!!!
During the Spitfire and Hurricane display a silence falls upon OW, an atmosphere like no other. A poem was read last year during one of the displays… very moving…
Old Warden…
A few more traders for Sunset airshows! Money burns holes in my pockets at airshows…
The shop is a bit weak from a retail point of view… The things for sale feel as if theyve been there for years…
Catering a bit poor but i know people like to bring there own food!
(I’m just lazy!:p )
Apart from the above, which don’t bother me greatly Old Warden is superb!
I love all the airshows, particularly the Sunset ones they offer an atmosphere which is totally unique… If you have never been then go One day i done RAFM Hendon in the morning, Mosquito Museum in the afternoon then OW for some sunset flying… awesome day
Keep up the great work OW please don’t lose that timeless feel!!!!:)

I know the ones in the AAM are ‘intombed’ and will never see fresh air again so before the new Super Hanger intomb’s a few more lets get the Lanc, mossie and some others out there!!!

Moondance, i’ll second that. The organisation of Legends or any show for that matter is mamouth and im pretty sure everyone involved gives it 100%.
Legends 2004 is going to be brilliant! rest assured…;)
You can remind me of this statement in July!

“Onward to Malta” by Wing Cdr T F Neil.
I read this book whilst on Holiday in Malta a few years back, a truely ‘interactive’ experience, being able to visit places mentioned in the Book!
I must say tho… i’ve nearly finished Geoffrey Wellum’s book and its brilliant! I know its been mentioned several times on this thread but if you haven’t read it go and buy it! Superb Reading!:)
