When i was 17- not that long ago (Crumbs..yes it was! 10 years!) i couldn’t keep a one litre Fiesta on the road, let alone a V12 Spitfire in the Sky! 😉
I understand the dissapointment expressed here, with ‘Spitfire Ace’ I almost posted something similar on Monday when after watching the programme i realised that its really a Battle of Britain Documentary… a very good one at that!
I support channnel 4 in going with this programme and will be writing to them once the series is finished. The bl**dy BBC would never show a programme like this because it doesn’t involve’celebrities’ and no one gets voted off!!!!
Ive always chucked money in the bottle at airshows (that and the Blenheim and Sally B!) but never clocked a supporters club before?:confused: Sunglasses to dark probably!
I find it quite amuzing that Britain is often reffered to as England on a lot of US tv shows, i think some are confused by the whole United Kingdom set up…:)

DBW is a beautiful film and i love that sound track, ashame it was never released on CD 🙁
i do believe IWM Duxford already have planning permission to rebuild the hanger and have had for many years, not sure why they never built it? :confused:
Maybe they would struggle to make the building look authentic /original between the two historic hangers??? dunno…
