Tricky one that, the film will be good news for museums, airshows etc (no matter how historicaly incorrect it is) it may also be good news for warbird operators, so do we?

a) Go see and support the film, indirectly benefitting some of the organisations we support…

…or…

b) Stay away (who’d notice!!)

Suppose we’ll have to wait and see, can’t say im that confident about it… 🙁

Apparently they will be using Mustangs instead of Spitfires and P40’s instead of Hurricanes… :confused: 🙁

I don’t envy some of the people who run places like Hendon and Duxford. You will never please everyone. I suppose At least RAFM’s reply was given thought and nicely explained.

I suppose sometimes you just have to ‘agree to disagree?’:(

Thanks for putting me straight on this one, usually you don’t see one without the other, hence my confusion.

I got (relativley) close to Janie at Little Gransden last year and she does look superb.

As for BBD, I love the noseart she is a real beauty.

Agreed! If you look at what display space that building actualy has? a third of it is taken up by a reception area/cafe/’control tower’ type thing.

I for one enjoy ‘Our Finest Hour’ if it can educate at least a few more people, particularly younger people then its worth it! again the layout is a bit messy!

Overall i do enjoy visiting Hendon, i think the next year or two will be key and we will see plenty more changes…

Melvyn, i think your comments are a bit hard, however each to there own opinion!;)

I feel that the museum is going through a very transitional period and im sure plans are a foot to sort out some of the comments you and others have made…
