funny thing is, i have flown on Tokyo Disney when it was painted.
and F1 GP, Wunala Dreaming and Nalanji Dreaming when they were not painted.
flew to Frankfurt on OJC the former F1 and to Singapore from Rome on OJB the former Wunala Dreaming.
if i had timed it better i might have got on them while they were in scheme.
actually i went on OJA, OJB and OJC on my trip recently.
SQ and EK are the only ones atm.
TG suspended services not to long ago for a while.
i think you misunderstand me. ok they are important a/c in terms of milestones.
but you would never know the difference if it wasnt painted on the fuselage. on JA8912 the Disney a/c, JAL had special disney decorations and paraphenalia in it. the 100th and 1000th 747 have nothing internally to take away as a reminder of your journey onboard.
they are configured the same as the rest of the fleet, basically GD my comment was in relation to your
Too bad I didn’t get to ride on this one.
because there would be no difference/
oh, well nice to know someone is over 40 hahaha.
i dunno about monster500, i needed a hotmail address and monster is my nickname awarded me by my kids. 500 came from god knows where, basically it has no meaning at all.
🙂
happy bday young fella.
oh and kev, if your 35 then i am 4 years older than you.
and dont even mention that 40 is next year.
:p
i would have thought Paris would have gone before Rome.
i know Frankfurt is very lucrative, the flight over to FRA was jam packed. and you could feel it on the takeoff run too, we used every inch of the 4k runway at changi.
Australia has a huge italian community, and not a national airline serving either country, its the same with Greece, no Olympic or Qantas services to or from eachother.
beggars belief if you ask me…
nice work mate.
i have been on 9V-SMU on a few occasions, nothing special about it at all.
also travelled on JAL’s 100th 747, once again nothing special about that one either.
GD. ams is a bugger to navigate, its in the unrestricted area. not as clear to find as FRA.
its up the top via some stairs near a small bar, you will have to look for it. but AMS is so big by the time u find it you might run out of time.
you have to leave the restricted area, its in the public area.
all LH flights use T1.
GD. when you go to frankfurt airport, you should go to the checkin area of terminal 1, where star alliance checks in, near there is a set of escelators that go up another level, take them and follow the signs, there is a enthusiasts shop also.
costs 3 euro to enter and you are very close to the action. this one is for the comapny i work for and for lovers of this a/c.
sorry i didnt get the whole fuselage, i just didnt have the time.
but here it is.
like the colours in this one.
a plane i have not managed to snap before.
up close and personal.
