Jordan has recently given the new Iraqi Air Force a couple of Hercules while the UAE handed down a fleet of UH-1H Iroquois. As to the type of fighters Iraq could potentially procure eventually, I believe Halo84 listed some of the types that could be available to them.

I was just wondering if any of you have ever heard of the TR-3A rumored to have taken part in Desert Storm missions. If I can find a link to the infomation I will post it. This could possibly be the Aurora!

I would pick the E-model for the simple reason that it had the M61 available as a last resort or if you couldn’t use your missiles. From what I understand, it took the USAF several years to comply with requests made by their flight crews to strap a cannon on the Phantom.

I love the Bone! One of the sexiest jets around. Even on the ground it looks likes its going fast! The DHL 757 and those colours complement each other really well!
    Great shots danohagan!

Just got home to a flurry of News updates in my email box. Couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw what had happened in London. Incredible! I glad to hear there was no loss of life and only a single casualty, which in my mind is far too much! My prayers are with you all!

May he rest in peace and begin his true journey through the stars!
Mister Doohan was perhaps one of the most memorable characters in the history of television and the cinema! He will be missed! There is a report that his ashes could be spread in space. Not sure what all of the details are, I only just saw the headline.

The 737 just keeps getting better and better. It’s been about forty years since the aircraft first entered service and airlines are still attracted to this proven design for its efficiency and operational record!
I wonder how Boeing will top themselves when the time will come to replace this aircraft. It won’t be an easy task!

One has to wonder what type of arguments these people use to brainwash those they will eventually send to their deaths. You would have to think that they would prey on those who are loners, weak minded and people who have a reason to exact revenge against the west! How can they suddenly stop making the difference between what is right and wrong? I have a hard time trying to understand this!

Something that is very important to remember is the fact that London has seen much worse than the terrorist attack last week (I am not trying to take anything away from the horrors the world witnessed that day). I am simply trying to point out that London was, during WWII, the subject of constant bombing raids flown by the German Luftwaffe. At the time, Londoners picked up the pieces and percevered, standing defiantly in the face of great adversity. I have no doubt in my mind that today’s generation of Londoners will do the same. This alone is a great victory against terrorism!
