I’ve heard as many as a hundred and one kills achieved by the F-15 community worldwide. I believe Israeli Eagles hold the largest share while American Eagles would come in second while Saudi Arabia holds four kills.

With my fiancee presently in London visiting relatives, I was incredibly worried about her welfare when I learned of the attacks last Thursday morning. However, I was relieved when I heard her voice on the other end of the line to let me know she was safe. She was freaked out and I must admit that I was as well. we here in Canada never have encountered any such atrocities but I must say that many of us were angered by the attacks London suffered.
As a former member of the armed forces, I wouldn’t say that we have lost the war but more that we have lost a few battles. This is a war that will last for decades to come as no matter how many of them you kill, there will always be another to take their place. This is a cause that will take patience on the part of us all. Our government have to unite rather than spend most of the time blaming each other for the short comings of this conflict. The more they will work as a single entity, the more they are likely to see positive results. Until this happens, we unfortunately will continue to suffer such acts from extremists.

The first airframe that was assembled was the aircraft used for structural testing. MSN002 will be used for cabin inegration tests if I am not mistaken.
I would be interested in knowing what did happen to the airframe used for these structural tests.

Airbus seems to be doing well but Boeing still has an edge in the order books department. It could be a tight race for both to see who will come out at the top at the end of the year. This definitely is becoming an interesting year!

    That’d be a variation of FULCRUM-E, FULCRUM-D was the MiG-29K.

Ooops! Thanks for pointing that out! 🙂

As far as the F-15C is concerned, I reckon it is one of the best superiority fighters actively being used today. Its record speak for itself and not many could argue its capabilities, whether in the hands of American, Saudi or Israeli pilots.
However, I would say, IMHO, that the Rafale M is a better machine. I have spoken with a USN RIO with VF-32 who has flown dissimilar ACM versus the French fighter and she said and I quote “It is an incredible machine and I doubt anything out there could rival it until the F-22 comes around! The scary part is that it will soon be upgraded and be even more potent than in its original variant.”
I have always been a big fan of the F-15C. Its a great design that simply screams I will outdo anything you throw at me. Unfortunately, there are new performers on the block and they are ready to take over.

Would this be the only recon pod used by the IAF or do they have other types in use?

I thought Israel still used their RF-4Es. Or have they already been pulled out of service to be replaced by UAVs.
