Love the CO B757 with the winglet. It’s a sexy machine!
Loved the close up on the Jet2 B757. Stellar stuff!
It reminds me of a highlighter marker. Those colours are too bright, I am not sure that I like it.
Those colours look great on this aircraft. Although, I can’t wait to see one in person, soon I hope!
These are my predictions for this afternoon:
Germany over Argentina in overtime and I’ll take the Ukraine over Italy in regular time.
Your thoughts?!

Could the Brazilians revenge their 98 lost or will France spoil Brazil’s WC run?
Well Brazil hasn’t beatten France in WC competition since 1958 or something of the sort. So history is against the Brazilians but, this one is a tough one to call.

Spain’s thrashing by France was by far one of the best show in this World Cup series, Zidane’s contribution was beautiful. I couldn’t believe France leaped from a previous poor show to such a stunning win:)
And I have to say that I find myself hoping they can carry this momentum into the game against Brazil on Saturday night.

Has the American pilot’s status finally been confirmed as killed in action or is the US government still trying to elude as to his whereabouts? I do remember the US military trying to locate him shortly after they had removed Saddam Hussein from power, but I don’t think I ever heard the results of that search!
One of the things which struck me as odd was the order for those Sikorsky S-92. I am not against the aircraft itself, but rather the logic behind the contract. The Canadian Armed Forces have very little money top spend and they went and selected a type which will require a new infrastructure in order to operate. To me, this makes absolutely no sense as, in this day of needing to save money at all cost, it would have made more sense to order more CH-149 Cormorant differently equipped for this mission.
As for the airlift capability, it was a wise decision to make the purchase of these four C-17s while the replacement for the C-130 and the Buffalo should have been brought down to a single type. I could be wrong but again, introducing two different types might be a little more expensive, even if the two favoured aircraft use the same engines and other instruments. I would think that buying an extra five to eight C-130J would be enough to fulfill the role that would see the C-27J fill.
As the London airport is now owned and managed by the city of London there well be no more annual airshow. The girls who run city hall are typical left-wingers who are anti-military. The first stage was to try and turn the event into a balloon and kiddy-fair (bring your, kids, dogs and frisbies and run around like a-holes) then last year they killed it off. 😡 Very sad as it was an event were the public could get a very close look. The arrivals and departures which mainly took place on the friday and monday were often spectacular.
Sorry for the rant.
The anouncement about the C-17/C-130 purchase will be made this week if not to-day.

This DeCicco woman actually made the city loose millions of dollars in revenue in cancelling the yearly event, but for her, it didn’t matter. Her opinions was really what mattered the most so off she went to cancel the show and after, who cares if we loose valuable money in our economy. 😡 😡 What a clueless b****!
I know the feeling… I see the occassional Cormorant passing by on this end of the St. Lawrence. Best view I had was at the Trenton show in 03… they had one on static for everyone to climb through and then put her into the flying display… just as the good old Lab did her final bow and turned the Cormorant made a high-speed run-in from the left ‘chaing’ the Lab off the scene. She’s an impressive flyer… keep your eyes peeled for the Children’s program ‘Mighty Machines’… they have a half hour segment which includes some really good ‘demo’ footage, over Halifax Harbour with the Coast Guard and some over-land SAR exercising outside Trenton.
PS… when’s the London Show? I miss the ‘good old days’
Well, this year’s has been a write off but they are apparently trying to set-up a show for next summer. What doesn that mean and most importantly, will they succeed, I have no idea! But I am hoping and praying!
You can visit this site, they update it everyonce in a while.

May they rest in peace and their efforts not go in vain! My deepest condolences to their loved one!
