Yes. The national security card is too easy to play – they can use it to justify anything and anything. Even, heaven forbid, mistakes and cover ups.

    He’s a white Nigerian.

Nobody respects Italian democracy (corruption plus a new goivernment every 5 minutes) and I have to say, the Italian electorate have demonstrated why this is the case, by allowing such a contemptible man to be in charge.

Suaron – they are innocent until proven guilty. If you cannot prove them to be guilty via an open court, then as far as I am concerned they are innocent and should be freed with a public apology.

Also, I think Guantanamo bay is effeticvely US sovereign territory, so Cuba has no say in the matter.

I think our hacker has been busy again.

    253 seats in a 2-class configured 757-200?!

Accoridng to the Boeing website, this is even beyond what the 753 can accomodate:

    I hate Linux.

I tried it once, and it was very slooooow. It was nearly unusable in fact. And on the same system (Athlon 1Ghz, 384Mb) XP Pro works perfectly.

Also, it is not very intuitive. You have to type cryptic commands to do things, just like MS-DOS which I stopped using in 1995.

Anywhere off the beaten track. I am one of those pretentious gits who hates “tourists”.

This year it’s been Zambia for my main holiday, with city breaks in Dublin, London, Milan, Rome and Reykjavik.

Another one – companies that have your credit card details saved. So when you visit to place an order, it completes it automatically.

But usually I only visit rarely and there is never an easy option of how to change your details (at least with my 10 second attention span when shopping). As a result I sometimes get irate phone calls when they try and charge an expired or cancelled credit card. Guilty sites from this week: Novatech and Amazon.

There might be a vacancy in the UK if Alastair Campbell gets kicked out!
