Me being very biased towards Stansted, would say it’s an absolutely fantastic airport! :p All jokes aside, a lot of people I’ve spoken to all like the airport, with it’s unique, spacious terminal and cheap flights!

Since quite a young age I have visited the airport just by riding there on my bike, and know it very well as it’s only 3 miles from my home. I even watch the arrivals/departures (depending on what runway they’re on) from my window, and if anyone’s interested there’s an Air Polonia 737 now landing! 😀

As regards to spotting, don’t go there! There are no dedicated facilities as it stands, and unless you fancy a long trek then you can’t really do much spotting from the terminal. Unless you are a local, you’ll find it very hard to get to the spotting places if you don’t know the country roads, and the police can be very unfair if you go to certain places they don’t like. The only way really if you want a good days spotting at STN, is to get in contact with me and I’ll tell ya all that I know.

Lol Ren i couldn’t agree with you any more! I really cannot stand the t***ers! ‘Bringing guitars back into pop’………more like ‘Annoying the hell out of everyone and pretending to be rock’.

One thing that really made me laugh, when reading my Kerrang magazine, one of the busted group had deemed the Lost Prophets as looking like a ‘gay boy-band’. That’s exaclty what Busted are! 😀

A great report Bhoy, I love proper in depth reports like this, from start to finish! For that case, I try to do them like that myself, I’m just trying to dig-out the one I did when I flew upto Glasgow in December……….

Mine is the logo of ‘Go’ airlines. Why? Because it brought a lot to Stansted, my local airport, and set an excellent example to all the other low-cost airlines out there (not that they followed their example in may cases).

Yep very boring. And the window where those pics were taken is one of the only ones in the entire building, the rest are blocked off in one way or another. The best one is the Bravo pier, becuase you have the freedom to walk down the entire length of it taking pics of every aircraft parked along there.
