Great work Tom, the 350D really is a great bit of kit. Are you borrowing it off Paul or is it yours?

Great work Lance, it’s nice to see a 737-200 these days. I haven’t photographed one for ages, and I doubt I’ll see many more in the future.

Excellent work Tom! I’ve been using the 400D now for several months and it seems like a pretty good machine. What lense are you using?

Many thanks again guys for the very kind response! I’ll wait a couple of days until another 10 or so are edited and update this thread.

I like the panning shot of the F70. Also, considering the distance involved the MD11 turned out pretty well!

I was pleasently surprised, even managed to get the MD-11 uploaded to jp.net! Not bad for 500mm from about 2km away :p

Excellent work there Sam, really can’t beat low Winter lighting! Much prefer Winter lighting to that and the heathaze in the Summer, shame it has to be so bloody cold though.

Very sad news indeed. And for the second time this year, an aircraft that I have photographed has been in a major accident.

Here she is in her beter days, bathing in the Sun at Blackpool airport.

My very best wishes to all those involved.

Hey everyone, I’m pleased you all liked those 3! I’m just about to go to bed ready for a 4am start at the airport, but I’ll be editing as many as I can whenever I get a spare moment during the coming week. Eventually I’ll put a big post up!

Peter, we found it fine getting back to the terminal, cheers! We even stopped for a few shots of the 747’s rotating towards us from the 06 end.

ZB057, we were there from the 17th-19th.

Excellent work Paul! Love the one of DAZ, flown her once BLK-STN. Have you noticed any significant differences yet between the 350D and 30D, or do you think it’s something that you have yet to experiment?

Excellent selection there, including the Blue Peter which I’ve flown on.

    Hi AJ,

As far as I’m aware, there isn’t any kind of ban. I flew on a Bmi ERJ into LHR from MAN back in August. My un-educated guess would be that seeing as LHR slots are so difficult to get your hands on, it might seem a waste in most cases to put such a small aircraft on the route. Anyone have any ideas?

Great work mate, I’m working on a few more which I hope to upload soon. One of the helicopter came out well!

Well done on the first shot!

My first on jp.net was a veryscary 3 years ago! It only feels like I’ve been doing aviation photography for a year or so http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=171914. 3 years later, a few grand shorter and 905 accepted shots down the line, I’m as hooked as ever 😀
