Nice work mate! You caught EI-DHH, one I’ve flown on.
Great shots there, can’t wait to spend some time at LHR next Wednesday after arriving from BCN.
Taxi-£10
Had to laugh at that! I really haven’t got a clue how much it would come close to, but I think we’re talking over £100! Taxi to STN from London (25 miles) is about £40-60 depending on time of day. LHR is a good 65 miles or so frm STN….therefore I guess somewhere between £90-120.
I think that would be correct. ECA had a delayed flight from Friday evening and it didn’t depart until sat morning, so that must of been it!!
Wow, imagine that for an unexpected aircraft change!
I was on the EZY departure to STN at 0650.
Interesting shots.
As an aside, anyone know why there was an MEA A330 in BFS when I departed on Saturday morning?
Thanks everyone! I have to agree about the A346, it did feel huge when stood so close. The most impressive thing about the A380 was it’s height, but it’s not something that you immediately notice.
Now it’s off to the airport to catch my AB flight to BHD…. 🙂
Hmmm this is not good at all…I should have gone with my instincts and wait for someone to definitely confirm before I booked my flights.
So can I ask again, who will definitely be at MAN next Tuesday? And can we have an idea on where people will be/what people may be planning?
Excellent work Paul, I suppose that another visit to DUB is in order for me.
Great work mate, I’ve yet to go to DUB while they’re on RWY10.
Welcome onboard Dave, make sure your seatbelt is securely fastened.
Hmmm this isn’t looking very good so far…is anyone else gonna come forward? I really hope that Tom and Paul manage it!
I was quite anxious in the first place about booking my flight when no-one had actually said ‘definitely yes’, but I was assured that it’d be fine and that my time/money would be spent well by getting to meet up with lots of people.
There’s been a small update to the original post.
Seeing as it’s less than two weeks ago, could we please have a list now saying who is definitely (or nearly definitely) going to be at MAN on the 1st? If possible, also give information like arrival times and whether you are able to provide transport etc (ie. a car, to get round the airport). I think for those who are driving, we should all chip in a few quid for petrol.
You did an excellent job Lance, I’ll look forward to all of your photos and then meeting you again in the future.
Thanks Paul…..I’d say that this is where the FR fleet are!
Fabbb shots, is it me or on the 1st Air Berlin the air break is up slightly?
I’d say it’s just the aileron, probably making minor corrections due to a slight cross-wind.
Wow, some of you are too kind! Glad you all liked them, hopefully my next batch shall be from PMI/LHR in a few weeks!
Allen, I’m not entirely sure about that. In the past year or so I think I’ve only ever seen the GSS and Atlas Air liverys.
Yes great pics, what camera and lens do you use?
Jamie, for all those shots I was using a 350D with a Sigma 50-500DG.
