Cheers Tom and Tom!
It was fun shooting the close-ups again, it’s not really possible to get some of those angles unless the Sun is really intensely lighting it. It can be very hard to keep everything sharp and not-grainy, especially with the 50-500. The one of EI-DHO where the nose gear is just retracting was taken at 417mm.
Great shots there! Liking all the FR ones too! The T Mobile A320 one looks quite hazy doesnt it?
In what way do you mean hazy?
The quality wasn’t up to much, because I actually took it after the Sun had set behind the thick clouds on the horizon.
Cheers, Paul and Matt!
I best get myself off of here now and revise for my AS-level Physics and Economics exams tomorrow!
Thanks for the kind comments everyone! Stuart, I was also gonna ask about the Orbis sticker….I flew on that aircraft last week.
Jason, I’m using the Sigma 50-500 DG.
[QUOTE=gary o]I did indeed,any reason why :confused:

Because I was on those two aircraft, firstly arriving from STN on EI-CSF and then departing back to STN on EI-DHH. (that is EI-DHH by the way).
I don’t suppose you caught EI-CSF arriving at around 10:00am, and EI-DHH departing around 4:00pm?
They look like exactly the same aircraft I saw when I was in SNN last Wednesday?
Nice shots.
Hmm not working for me  Anyone have any suggestions?

Would a takeover of BAA mean any real changes in the running of the airports? I work at STN at the Wetherspoon pub, and so I’m wondering whether anything is likely to change. Would the takeover company have new rules, new plans for the airports, new ideas etc? Or would it simply mean the the BAA banners get replaced, and this other company makes the profits?

30/08/06, AMS – BHX, WW B737Ahem…….:D.
Sorted, sorry about that Tom!
To be honest, Dan should know a little better.
Since when? I struggle to see exactly what I have done wrong….and even then I’m confused as to why I should supposedly have ‘known better’ when I used a common phrase (’emergency landing’).
I’ve always called it that, since my Dad worked at STN and phoned me up every time there was an ’emergency landing’ and he’d tell me all he knew about it, so that I could listen in on my radio.
