I took the T7 with the birds on purpose but the one on the Transat was unplanned, couldn’t have framed both birds more in the middle

If your subject is not filling the area of the partial metering then it will not doubt try and expose the sky therefore leaving your subject dark.

I tried spot metering on the weekend, work a treat, but partial was just as good. RAW will take about 7Mb a file so work out how many shots you will take. Probably get about 200 shots on your card in RAW.

Editing does enhance the photo. But there is only so much you can fix. So get the exposure right then the editing should only be dust spots, sat, levelling and sharpen.

    Good luck!

Superb mate, phrasing this carefully…The Virgin does it for me :diablo: and the ACA and the AA and the…..infact they are all excellent.

Would love to know what happened to the AA rudder.

Watermarking is the way forward, all mine get the treatment and I’m only posting smaller images to in future.

Fingers crossed the wx and traffic is like that in MAN in a couple of weeks!

If you use CS2 then you can create an action to add a watermark. All I do is press ctrl-F2 and it does it, easy peasy 😉
