If anybody jumped onto the F-35 bandwagon thinking that it would be a top-notch dog-fighter, they deserve just what they get. The myth of a true one-size-fits-all multi-role aircraft has been “shot down” many times before.
MiG-23.
Honduras Let L-410 with new segmented roundel, Bosnia Let L-410, Mali Let L-200 Morava. And an Iraqi Gazelle with a slight misspelling…
A rare old one, a rather interesting new one, and a late-breaking new one. A Malian Let L-200 Morava, a Bosnian Let-400, and a Honduran Let L-410 with new segmented roundel. And an Iraqi Army Gazelle with a slight misspelling…
9U-BFK (RA-22151) and 9U-BFJ (RA-22150) Mi-8TV at Bujumbura AFB
The images aren’t showing.
Thanks I think I was close!! lol
You were astonishingly close!
Update on my website; Venda. Had to make the roundel myself as I couldn’t find one on the web.

Here it is.
Cameroon
The middle one is a Zimbabwe Alouette III. And see attached full view of the Cameroon Alouette II.
It was an Angolan crew delivering the first An-26 to Cape Verde, so most probably it’s FA-C01.
Confirmed- thanks very much!
You’re right MiG! Facebook has been a huge information source on military matters for years. It has definitely been a great help for authors/researchers for their works too.
Something more, for the modellers:

Oh, man, p_shadow, that close-up of the Cape Verde An-26 is superb! Thanks! Anybody have an image of the badge on the front fuselage, or know what the aircraft number on the fin is?
That is some sick stuff, driver…. Never seen anything even remotely as detailled on MozAF as this…
:applause: :applause: :applause:Just tell me there’s a guy who climbed over the fence at Debre Zeit to make pics of their Su-25TKs and I’ll marry you.. :highly_amused:
I told y’all- this cy24driver guy means serious business! 😀
An oddity from Angola- Do-28A.
The picture is taken in Haifa harbour. Still Israeli from the dump.
Is that the official Nassrallah Air Lines logo on the rear fuselage?:D
Another of the Cape Verde An-26 which I scanned in a long time ago was still learning to scan so not good quality.
Chris
Thanks, Chris. What is the aircraft number on the fin?
All I can say is…. just WOW !!!!
That is one of two almost mythological ones for me, the other being either an Mi-17 or a Do-228 from Bhutan. I never imagined that Cape Verde An-26s wore camouflage colors, much less the old national insignia. Wish I could get a good, clear image. This is pretty extraordinary itself, though!
