I think that first Magister, from Congo, is a fake.
I disagree. Lebanese Fougas look different and have the rear part of the canopy made of glass, not metal… Upon having examined a myriad of pictures I have come to an impression that this is an Israeli Tzukit #675, hence the reference to Nassrallah.
Makes sense- thanks.
Unknown CM-170 Magister, coded 075, anybody got an idea whom did it belong to?
My guess- Lebanon. Hassan Nasrallah is the current leader of Hezbollah, the Lebanese political and paramilitary organization/terrorist group.

Ugandan L-39 sporting a digital camo pattern.
Could this be a former Czech or Slovak aircraft now in Ugandan service?

Here is a Bosnian Mi-17, reputedly flying for the Muslim forces, with the badge insignia on the tail.
And note that the colors of the wing roundels on this model are incorrectly inverted! The red and the blue should be reversed.
The wing striping was apparently used for a short while on the P-51s to help with identification.
like tis model;
I will try to find real picturesoater posting I realized the color of the wing roundels are inverted.
And note that the colors of the wing roundels on this model are incorrectly inverted! The red and the blue should be reversed.
A red-yellow-blue fuselage roundel was used for a short while, in conjunction with the triangle roundel on the wings. Note also the alternate rudder striping, with a yellow vertical component instead a red one. Waco biplanes also had three stripes, red-white-blue, on their rudders, in conjunction with the triangle wing roundels. See attached profile of a Nicaraguan P-47.
Togolese Mi-8 Hip???
Can someone help me identify this chopper?
The 3X- prefix in the registration code confirms that it is from Guinea.
I dont claim to know anything about US Laws and military contracts, so heres my question:
When Boeing lost the JSF program, was the F-35 better in all areas?
If not what is to stop Boeing trying to sell their a/c abroad?
Its ugly I agree, but , for example, it was better at the Stovl role, why cant they sell that version while the f-35 gets then other orders?I think our forces deserve to the best possible equipment available.
Baz
I have heard that part of the reason was that the F-35, built by Lockheed Martin, has more in common with the F-22, also built by Lockheed Martin. The rationale was apparently that commonality would lead to cost reductions and a streamlining of the F-35 program. Wonder how that’s working out for them?
