Here’s a Rare One
A Piper Super Cub from Luxembourg. Very unusual. From http://www.aircraftslides.com.
Montenegrin Police Gazelle
Ah, Darn!
Unfortunately, I’ll be the one to call PS!!… while not ‘fictitious’ markings (or user), they’ve definitely been added (and not very well) to an existing photo… much like some of those Somali AF pix that show up on a certain “formerairforces” website.
I’ve been hoodwinked! Thanks for pointing that out. Venezuela does plan to acquire some K-8s, or already indeed has- right? To make up for my blunder, I’ve attached a photo of a Mozambiquan T-6 passed on to me by a very good friend. Note the unusual addition of the national flag on the fin.
Exactly
It seems that the political leadership of most countries will sanction many forms of evil behaviour if it sees them as being in the state’s interest.
You hit it right on the head. Strategic imperative and political expediency rule the world. And those with little to no power, who have much to lose, are just pawns in the games played by those who have far too much power, with little to lose and a lot to gain. It’s basic, vile human nature. We just can’t save ourselves from ourselves.

CORRECTION- THIS ONE’S PHOTOSHOPPED. THANKS TO CONRTRAILJJ FOR CATCHING THIS ONE!
Mexican Northrop C-125
Here’s an unusual one- a Mexican C-125 Raider. Twenty-three were made for the USAF, all of which were retired in 1955. Most of the surplus aircraft were sold to bush operators in South and Central America. This one made its way to the Mexican air force. From http://www.airlinehobby.com.
Fantastic!
Zambian CJ-6
Get a load of what I’ve turned up today !! What really interests me the most is that this pix is most likely to date back to the year 1985, without the owner’s unremitting efforts in the way of compiling a vast photographic database in this field and working on an unusual theme like “African Military Aviation”, I’ll bet this one would have never seen the light, namely causing us to waste a lot of time pursuing this without reaching the objective. Without any hesitation, I’d like to add that It’s really fit to be called something appropriate for this thread.:diablo:
For my bad, I’m still unable to locate any pics of ZAF F-6 fighter, Can anyone help me with this? It should’ve been photographed along with this one at Mumbwa AB at that time of base-tour.:)

The Zambian air force stuff is outstanding! Note the alternate roundel on some of the aircraft- I’ve never seen that before!
Squadron Badge
It’s a helicopter of Imperial Iranian Army deployed to Oman in the 70’s to fight Dhofar rebels.
Does anybody have a clear image of the squadron badge on this one? Thanks.
