    Let’s await preliminary investigative reports.

The other being the one that got whacked by the AF A380. That was quite a ‘whack’ though. Poor CRJs must be a conspiracy, but don’t tell anyone I said so:D

Volume sales of some commuter aircraft are becoming like cars

Volume sales of some commuter aircraft are becoming like cars
One day one model of volume car is in but beaten by a competitor the next day by a body shell mod claimed to give improved performance figures. All pie in the sky but with it tagged are some improved finance deals so ahem!

And so similarly lies the fate of commuter aircraft but there is no death of any Boeing model at present and it’s await news in Q1 2012 after delivery in Q3 2011 of the ‘plastic pig’.:D

DAE must be buying individual disposable jet propulsion packs for their future potential commuter passengers. It’s in reality a one way ticket sale as they never come back

Yes Ralph should be able to give us a closer to the mark opinion/facts

Yes Ralph should be able to give us a closer to the mark opinion/facts soon.
It’s hard to reckon with though, as the world is developing so fast but only in some nations while poorer nations, through the richer nations supposedly having to maintain a global economic balance  or their local minority (politicos and war mongers) greed are still facing very bad conditions. I think there is a way other than purely aid, and it rests with the developing/developed nations to work out the balance of economics and power. This last word is the crux of the matter.
A human life is a life wherever in the world and if lost due to negligence of those charged with responsibility then it becomes an un forgiveable tragedy.

Infants aren’t able to tell adults what is disturbing them

Infants aren’t able to tell adults what is disturbing them. Even if the mother – infant bond is strong the communication is hard to comprehend at infancy. Some infants may given the circumstances presenting be restless expressed as loud noise “I am wanting something done, I am not comfortable, get me out of here I am an infant (celebrity of a kind)”.:D
I think under the circumstances a compromise would be that as part of the booking conditions where an infant was in mother’s arms, lap, whatever (no charge passenger) then if the infant was with the mother in First or Business Class, if the infant became restless the mother must agree to transfer for the duration of the disturbance to a cabin crew seat outside First/Bus. Class, (naturally the cabin crew member would sit in the mother’s seat if flight were full and there was anything untoward en route other than noisy infant).
The blanket ban by MA is a drastic one and I am sure one of their more balanced ‘bean counters’ will make some impact soon to make it less harsh.
It’s a tough one as on transatlantic flights extremely wealthy, airline revenue boosting parents fly with children including sometimes infants and it would be a completely uneconomical thing to consider turning their business down by relegating them to economy.
We were all infants at one stage in our lives and I know I flew a long long way and back on B.O.A.C. with my parents and supposedly everyone loved me on the flight. I’d be in the ‘luggage hold’ now if some of you had your way, just on the off chance that I may not be a good infant.
