    Where is the Valinat right now? Don’t ever remember seeing it before at Hendon… bearing in mind I do tend to bypass anything with a jet engine as a priority – still, not the sort of thing you would easily miss

    That’s a great looking cockpit – there was a Storch centre panel on ebay recently – it went for around £2000!

    I’ll try and dig out some pics – I think this is a great idea for a thread btw……

    Sad to hear that after all the hard work you put in. What about the Lanc off Sandwich Flats? I seem to remember someone telling me it had radials. Possibly 120 Sqn?

    Why don’t you try David Hobbs at the Fleet Air Arm Museum – he may be able to find a home for your wheel. Maybe you can work out a trade.

    I’m not really a trouser expert and am not too sure what these rather funky sounding trousers look like, but didn’t a lot of the early aviators wear cavalry strides?
