Looks like a Hawker aircraft
The work by Ray Moore is stunning – I’m very impressed there are five (new build?) B17 projects in the USA. How amazing. It makes you wonder if similar projects could ever happen here.
It’s not a valuable item i’m afraid. The hub is also quite rusted so unlikely to ever fly again.
Thanks Dave
Thanks Ewan – i’ll send you a pm
Hi Andy – AHO2217 is listed in my Spitfire I/II parts catalogue as: Unit, camera switch
From memory it was one of the chordal stiffeners

Hi Dave – I have some spare 2BA bolts I can send you if you are interested?
Its from one of the marks of Harvard
I joined the aerojumble group and had a good look at what’s on offer – it’s not really what I had in mind. A few aircraft parts but lots of modern junk – calenders, prints, bottle openers, key racks etc. As mentioned it seems pretty UK oriented too which doesn’t help a lot of forum users from overseas.
A dedicated part on the forum would be best – I and many others would be happy to subscribe/ pay for classified ads but there doesn’t seem to be much interest from Key. It seems a real shame as it would be a very good way of monetising the forum.
In the meantime i’ll check out the antique aircraft parts exchange group – looks pretty good

That aside – fantastic work. The oleo looks amazing
I think that goes against the grain Bruce. Oh I crack myself up sometimes
It would be great to see them Gary. Many of us would find them really interesting mate
The Hampden is one of my favourite things – I’m so pleased it’s coming along so well. As for the Dornier my understanding is that the conservation work is not yet finished. There’s nothing sinister about the tarpaulins. It will look very good once it comes back together.
