Thanks Tony – as usual 🙂
That’s my theory. No one here seems to know so I might head off to Hawkinge this weekend to take a look.
Hi Tony – no this is a different query… Thanks a lot for your help with info on spacers.
I went there about 10 years ago – didn’t find a sausage unfortunately… Interesting place though – it’s near the river Styx
Sounds similar to Paramythia as described in Charles Lamb’s War In A Stringbag.
Here are a few pics of progress on the Whitley centre section…
Some of the main members of the centre section in the jig:

This is one of the lower box section assemblies for the centre section – there are a pair of these:

Hmm wasn’t quite bare though? The mounting castings are very hard to find these days and expensive to make…
And a bare standard blind flying panel has gone for £425. Well well…..!
Very good money, if your the seller!

Looks American to me
That’s odd – why would that be? They are not big and don’t look luminous
Hi Galdri
Have you also tried on WIX?
You probably looked already Pete, but there are a few on the US ebay site:
Hi.
Does anyone have an American-style Bendix or similar mag switch available please?
It is the Off / L / R / Both type I`m after, either with or without removable toggle / key.
It`s for the Griffon-powered Miss Canada IV:

Any leads on a push switch ref 5cw/857?
Any help appreciated.

I have a Magister control column. Not keen to part with it but would for a good swap etc….
Hi – I don’t think I ever had the ref number. If you send/email your drawing and diameter of the shaft (2ba, 1/4″ etc.) they should be able to find the item for you. They are very helpful like that.
Whitley ones too. Seriously though, you can buy these from light aero. I had a pair for my front turret a while ago.
I have a spare Boozer indicator if anyone is interested – it’s rough and is missing one lamp but there aren’t many around…
Hi Mark – I would send a pic to Guy Black
