I think Dave is right – have a look at this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RARE-RAF-Bristol-Brigand-Aircraft-Cockpit-Fuel-gauge_W0QQitemZ140291738907QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CPV_Aviation_SM?hash=item20aa0a0d1b&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C72%3A1683%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
I think that was a dead heat 😀
Any more bits at all we can help with?
Hi Mantog
The first part is a battery terminal. The second part is a bomb steady from a light series bomb carrier (a small type of bomb rack). There’s a pic here on a site that strangely enough deals with Blenheims: http://users.cyberone.com.au/clardo/blenheim_armament.html.
Wow – that really does look intact.
Be nice to see some more pics.
A bit more information here:

Take a look at this link WF. Looks like your light fitting… http://data3.primeportal.net/hangar/howard_mason2/wyvern_tf1/images/wyvern_tf1_26_of_32.jpg
Will do Gary
Probably around the £500 mark – but maybe more on ebay. You never can tell…
And a dataplate!! 😀
That’s an air ministry light fitting – if you clean it up there should be a ref number on it. I had one a few years ago.
Hi Ian
Yes, it’s the scale from a TR9 controller. A lovely find!
I think you are safe to go with Martin on this.
Hi Pete
That’s a connector for the armourment system – it’s the bit that stays in the aircraft. The Whitley carried 16 of them. I have a lot already – gave up keeping track a while ago. Sometimes it’s easy to drown in the details :p
That’s Guy Black – looks like he’s having a bit of a clear out.
Hi Ken
You need to speak to Alan Hulme – he has produced a fantastic series of guides on Air Ministry equipment.
I’m sure he’ll see your post and respond.
Any more of these in the pipeline Alan?
I bet that has an interesting story to tell…
