Yes that’s the one. Thanks for the link to a great photo of it!
I haven’t got so many of the stored British Aerospace aircraft:
The new 146 arrivals there have been this year are 3 former Brussels Airlines example and I-CBLA. G-BTJG and G-TBIC have been scrapped this year.
There are at least 2 CS ATPs left, and 3 hs.748s.

Not my own, but these very recent ones may be of interest:

Hope these are of help!
Thanks for your comment Argonaut. Ease of travelling from Southend has been a big focus of the airport, with the ‘Simply Easier’ slogan being adopted. The new terminal is very small and compact, and should as hoped make travelling an ease!
Thanks EGTC. I even got another Air Astana 757 on arrival this morning!

Excellent little selection there. I bet Southend is great come the Olympics.
Thanks Culpano. I certainly hope the airport is very busy during the Olympics, it should be, as it must be the fastest to the Olympic park apart from London City.
I seem to rember once seeing an Arran 72 with a very nice livery, featuring circular designs, or am I thinking of a totally different airline.
This was the livery which was worn on the ATR72-500s after they were delivered until they were repainted into Aer Lingus Regional colours. That was also a very smart livery, albeit very short lived.
Thanks MSR777 and Gooney Bird.
The Aer Lingus Regional Dublin services are great news, bringing a 4th based airliner to Southend.
There certainly have been quite a few Aer Arann liveries, however my favourite is the one which EI-BYO used to wear.

The Aer Lingus colours do look great however, certainly better than the white aircraft with titles which can be seen on EI-BYO and EI-CPT now.
Thanks for all of your comments Clupano, EGTC and Short finals.
Avia Nova went bust in October, and EI-ELE spent some time in store in Dublin before positioning to Southend around 3 weeks ago. I assume its at Woensdrecht Air base neat Bergen in the Netherlands for further storage.
The maintenance companies brings some fantastic movements to Southend. There’s been far too many Airbuses this year. Fellow SEN spotters are moaning that there hasn’t been a 727 movement in almost 3 months! Lasham got M-STAR and a 732 last week!
All is change at Southend with the runway extension scheduled to open on Thursday!
nice picture mate 🙂
Thanks a lot!
Very nice shots.
Regards Phil
Thanks a lot Phil.
Gooney Bird, yes there will be plenty of easyJet A319 shots in due course, at least when they are still a novelty. Having said that, it’s almost been a year and I’m still not bored of the Aer Arann ATRs.
Hopefully therre will be some greater variety of passenger traffic in the future.
Thanks a lot for your comments EGTC and 27vet.
Here’s a photo of the new terminal from this morning. Looking very impressive, ready to open for business on Tuesday.

Thanks EGTC. As far as I am aware its a straight respray, staying in easyjet colours. I admit it doesn’t look too scruffy, but the colours are a bit faded. The aircraft is over 6 years old now.
Thanks again for your comment ‘EGTC’
Thanks very much for that explanation. Aero must be involved in a similar line of wok today, as I’m sure I’ve seen photos of some heavy helicopters in their name.
