Bristol_Rob. I thought of you when I posted those orange jets ?

Thank you Bruce ! My questions will possibly come from photos posted in another thread which I will kick off after I have sorted and tweaked the photos from today !!!
Keith.
Visited today ! Oh yes looks supurb ! One photo here, will start another thread, have 150 photos of most things at the museum, and possibly some questions ?
Keith.

OOoopppss ! Yes you are correct ! got my P’s and V’s mixed, but hey that comes with age ? Thank you.
Keith.
Well …. this is stretching my memory to the limits !!!! I worked at Luton, often for long periods in that era, carrying out electrical contracts for the “borough corporation” whilst involved with the installation of the Cat 3 approach system at whatever heading No the runway has at that end, I was also involved with the electrical supply to the ‘new’ terminal building which involved the complete re-location of a sub station just out of view in Busters photo ? Bear with me …… At that time Britannia had just taken delivery of their first Boeing 737’s (the first in the UK ?) G-APRL, G-APRM, G-APRN, one two or possibly all three of these aircraft were constantly bashing the circuit, crew training, at that time !!! constantly denieing us access to the runway for lighting repairs and updates ????? But to the point ….. all three of those aircraft were registered (thanks to G-INFO) 0n 14 July 1967 so I can assure you that at that date and for a very long time following the ‘new terminal’ was nowhere near being opened, which it obviously is in the photo, judging by the number of cars in the car park, it has been so for some time !!!! Phew !!
Keith.
YakRider. Is it the same as auto and motorcycle racing, whereby only a reigning champion can use the No 1 ?
Couple of photos from North Weald April 09 same aircraft taking off to win the air race !
Keith.

waco. Never flown with them, but can offer photos of the aircraft, both of which I think look supurb.
Keith.

Thank you Bruce, Will see what I can do, have not been for two years.
Keith.
Giant Steps for Mosquito Kind, I think ! What, if any, days is the museum open over this easter weekend ? Would like to get some photos of her on those tyres ?
Keith.
This was once a ‘several times daily’ sight at Norwich !
Now there are a few F50’s passing through, arriving in full KLM regalia, leaving with no titles or logos, will try to photograph any that may be there this weekend.
Keith.

Just a little question ? Without looking back into too much history, just how did a Drover arrive in the UK ? I mean was it shipped here ? arrived by air freight ? Flown here ?? (no chance) ? arrived by sea ? and for what purpose ? I imagine all of these questions could be answered in ‘search’ but that throws up a million threads !!! Help ?
Keith.
Very nice ! First of many we hope ? I prefer the Norge at the bottom !
Keith 😉
I can feel a lot of ‘wet eyes’ out there tonight ! umm ! so to help things along a little, another photo from Colin Louries collection.
Keith.
