Sorry can’t answer that ! I do visit this place regularly with a local model group, who fly there, will try to be there when the museum is open and try asking some questions ? It seems the beacon / glass structure on the roof may well be new so maybe the curator etc may have recently done some research on it and can answer questions ???

Hi pagen01. Yes that photo is ‘there’ if you go over ‘there’ go to East Anglia and Seething scroll down on page 1 there is a brilliant photo of same tower during wartime with same beacon atop ‘and a machine gun’ ????

For others who may be interested the ‘secret site’ is of course AiX.

Thank you all for your comments, I too liked photo 2 but was dissapointed that what appears as a dark cloud above the aircraft is actualy that darned wire fence mesh !!!!

Reading this I keep thinking of the Tiger Clubs ‘Barnstorming Displays’ of the early 60’s ? very wing walking ish if I remember correctly ????

Jon H. Sorry just too many JP’s in all states of repair ! have no idea of ID on that one behind the chippe ( when you realy meant to say ZLIN 536 ?);). Have found another photo, in same hangar, of another JP almost complete!!! Keith.

XM692.Thank you for your input, there is a JP dismantled at the back of the hangar inside, of which, I have no idea of it’s id, but the one outside is as shown below ! I hope this is what you are looking for ? Keith.
