Anark, Yes I think that would be a very impressive growl ! or is there a better word to describe this scene ? Although I was 5 years old at the time of the coronation, I don’t think I have ever seen, or heard, a Sunderland !

Photo 11 and photo 13, are indeed the same aircraft L1414, isn’t it so good to be able to scan at hi res ?
And in answer to an earlier question of yours about photo 2, I can now confirm that the Hawker Fury behind the Hendon is K8235 ! so close to photo 32 ? see below …..
