Keith.
Thank you for that Mark12 ! What a wonderful source of information you people are ! Will do some looking and comparing, and looking and comparing ! when I get some time ?
Keith.
Thank you Mark12, You sound so positive ! 😉 So does anybody know someone from Mandalay who could translate ?
Keith.
John, Having looked at the ‘targets’ in both log book entries, both in Burma, seem to be local area capitals, I have to assume it is Burmese ? still intrigued as to what is said, etc etc !
Keith.
Thank you for that information John, there are a few more photos of that and other Vincents coming up !
Tonight I would like to lead you all away from direct aircraft and airfields, into a part of his career with Far East Command ?
Below is another page from his log book, two entries involve “2 x 250 Leaflets” would this have been a leaflet dropping mission with the Blenhiem MkIV ? If so dropped on whom ? Where ? Why ? What for ? etc etc.
Below this is one of a few “Leaflets ” included in his portfolio, could these be “samples” of the drop ?
Better still can anybody read and translate and possibly explain ????
Hows that for a challenge …… Keith.

This is titled ‘Filling up at Gwadar using hand rotary pump’
PHOTO 59.

John Aeroclub, I have a few more photos from the mid 30’s, but need to work on them a little before posting. Keith.
Another small scrap of proof of your collective knowledge, once again going back to the Mosquito photos, your educated answer was B 25 and KB565, have a look at his log book entry for 24-04-47 !
There is another small story attached to that entry ! Keith.

Flat 12×2, Thank you for your input, I have no idea on the colour scheme, will leave that to those who know of these things, the only new input I have on the Libs is this newspaper cutting from the same persons collection ! …. Keith

Back again, so soon, Going back to photo’s 21, 22 ,23, ( mosquito’s) I think it was John Aeroclub, who first suggested Aldergrove as the venue, well I think this press cutting from this persons portfolio could help confirm this ? With date included ! ……….. Keith.

Good evening people, I am lucky enough to have been allowed access to more segments of this persons RAF career ! As we have been so intrigued by his movements around the world, all recorded on previously posted photos, I have a potted history of this career, which may help with dates and venues for the preceding photos ! I will type this exactly as I see it on a very old document !

And a sneak preview of what’s, maybe, coming up, two more jaguar cockpits !

I think the Jaguar at City of Norwich Aviation Museum seems very well looked after, maybe I am a little biased ! Keith.

Hi supakva, Spoke to my colleague today, he advised you get in touch with the Lowestoft Journal (local paper), just looked at their website, they have a section on airshows with clips from some shows !
Hope this will help, will get more info soon I hope !
Keith.
supakva, What year is/was the 10th aniversary airshow ??
I work with a guy who lives in Lowestoft, who attends all the airshows, will ask if he can help ?? Keith.
