I think UK television is really lazy these days relying on Reality shows and shows showing “Real People” at work etc, Instead of doing high class Drama’s, Comedies, and Documentries which in the past we have been so good at. There are a Few good shows out there but not many seem to be made here anymore 🙁 .

    I hate in particular,

*Big Brother(Think we united on this)
*X-Factor- Why these programes are so popular i don’t know
*Cash in the Attic-I work shifts so sometimes have caught this show.
    *Bargain Hunt
*Trisha-Why the hell do people air their Dirty Laundry on such shows?
*Jeremy Karl(Or somethink like that)-Same as Trisha just with a man instead
*Australian Soaps-We have enough bad soaps of our own
*UK Soaps- Eastenders etc all so depressing and boring.

Basically i think that all Daytime TV is a government ploy to keep unemployment numbers down, I swear they say in job centres “If you stay at home we will force you to watch 4 hours of daytime TV a day including the adverts for loans and insurance, If you take this job you get paid peanuts per hour, But at least you keep your sanity”

I think most of my favourites have been mentioned here already but here goes anyway.

    CARTOONS
    *Dangermouse
    *Count Duckula
*Wilo the Wisp- Kenneth Williams had perfect voice for that

    KIDS TV
    *Press Gang

    COMEDY
    *Only fools and Horses
*Porridge- A true classic in my view and a fine fine cast
*Open All Hours- Always see this as the making of David Jason with Ronnie Barker as his Tutor.
*Blackadder-4th one is my favourite by far
*The Two Ronnies- the perfect comedy team
*Citizen Smith-Would love to see a new episode of this to see where Wolfie ended up.
    *Red Dwarf

    DRAMA
*Quantum Leap-a Classic in my view due to 2 very good actors
    *Piece of Cake
    *Darling Buds of May

I am sure theres more just slipping my mind for the moment.

The man loves the sound of his own voice, He craves publicity and would go to the opening of a envelope if he thought it would get him some TV or newspaper time, He has to be controversial to get the headlines, Having said that is seems the Reporter set the question expecting him to answer it in this way, He gladly obliged being so self inportant.
What troubles me is that people may listen to him and not see him as the Clown figure he is, Iraq is a mess and people are dying everyday but this man to me can only cause more trouble and more deaths, Thats my fear.

While possible i would find it a little pointless to do this to any Sea Fury Airframe, It would make a intresting Replica project though, For someone with a lot of time money and effort to spare.
Really wish there were a few more “Furies” unmodified flying on the Scene pity they are so good for Racing in a way, But in another the reason we have some flying is due to Racing.

A great day at Dx today with a couple of displays, Alistair Kay putting the mustang through it paces when he returned from displaying at southend and also the T-28 went up a couple of times. Nice to meet you Alistair and Stu Goldspink and thanks for your time.

Was it Alistair Kay who flew the OFMC Mustang at Southend yesterday (Sunday)too?,
Both “Ferocious Frankie” and “Janie” were put through fine solo Display’s and “Frankie’s” Display was one of the best i have seen in a Mustang for ages, Very impressive.

Hope something can be done to save this Pub, Even if it does not go back to its “Old” role as a Pub, I would like to see it used for something, It could serve the community in many ways i am sure.

Its a testiment to how well this Pub is built that is has been able to remain standing even after several arson attacks, I really pray we won’t lose yet another piece of History.

I did not watch the Contest, So have not heard the Song but have to say its a Great thing that a Rock song has won this contest and about time too.
