These photos were all sitting on a thread i started a while back called my photos from 2004,They seem more at home here hope people don’t mind.
A few more from me from Shorham
Sounds bit pathetic to me the Roundel has always had at least a dual identity and to have it trademarked as belonging to the RAF now would seem to be to be over 40years late.
I am just wondering if we will be forced to scrap any albums etc that already have the roundel on them 😀 .
With so many other Airforces also using it i feel they should be proud that this roundel is so universal,I can understand if they wanted to trademark squadron badges but even then whats the point,The RAF duty is to serve the country and thats what our taxes go on so i guess we all own the roundel and Squadron badges.
Here is my first few.Biggin Hill
Yep – that’s okay – it’s an older design – roughly on a par with the S5000 – that goes for the 2800zoom and its derivatives too.
Basically, any inexpensive non SLR digital camera, I guess.
Great ok i will post a few soon.
I got a Fuji s602zoom does that count?
Got the feeling it will scrap for all but the cockpit section,It seems such a WASTE.
Think the BAF examples will be available sometime soon to buy i very much hope all get preserved when Belgium no long require them.
This subject could run and run much like Vulcan XH558 who is edging nearer to flight which also felt like a pipe dream not long ago,I feel its unlikely we ever see a Concorde where she should be again but do support the idea,And if people want put money behind it why not its not our money,Its not Tax money its their own money,So let them spend it.
You can’t tell someone that for example a Beaufighter project would be better way to spend your money,If they got their hearts set on Concorde theres no right or wrong really just hope and dreams.
The world needs dreamers and go getters so good luck i say and if she ever flies again i will be there.
To apoligise is to say you were wrong to have done something or you regret it,There can be no way you can regret bombing a Ememy that is bombing you and 60years on that should not change,Because at the time it needed to be done.

The Queen does not owe Germany any apology and the whole idea repulses me.
They are a Lovely Aircraft here is the UK example,Also posted a few weeks ago on my Pictures from 2004 thread.
but only when flying . . .
Yes i can see you point there.
Hope she be ok by next year glad damage does not sound too bad.
I must admit i like the clean look of a Mk11 or Mk8 with the tailwheel retracted.
