She flies with a Black spinner but then again she flies with wrong merlin engine too,as the exhaust stubs show,so i can’t really tell myself i would paint it black as the song goes.

Totally against all established record-breaking rules, not independently verified, and about as vaild as Monopoly money.

    WE did it first.

    Weep, Yanky boys!!!

I agree if it could not be verified independently it means nothing also i was lead to believe if is had gone supersonic it did not sustain it for the length of the run,Thrust went supersonic over a measured distance on both runs thats what makes it a record and be sure its a FIRST,also am i right in believing just before deHavilland did get a aircraft to go supersonic for a moment but aircraft broke up killing Geoffrey De Havilland before glamourous Glennis broke the sound barrier for aircraft?

I hope they’ve done as much research as Richard Noble and his team.
When designing Thrust SSC, they discovered that if Richard Noble had gone just a few mph faster in Thrust 2, he/it would have taken off.
Apparently Thrust SSC was capable of going a little faster but they decided any record could be beaten but nobody else could be the first to go supersonic. They beat a dignified retreat while everybody was in one piece.

Richard Noble and his team did so many tests before even attempting the record if this team is doing the same good luck to them,After all the history books will never say who went supersonic second will they?,I also can’t see a ejector seat being any good at this level at speeds we are talking about i would have thought if the nose lifted off the ground it would flip therefore ejection impossible?

    Tornado

The gr form is well proven as a top quaility ground attack aircraft dueing both Gulf conflicts it did very well, our men did a lot of the dirty risky jobs the yanks either could not or would not do,its upgrades have made it a very capable attack plane,As to its Fighter variant its a crock of crap but then again Tornado was not really designed as a fighter and always seemed more of a stop gap,we should not slag Tornados in general after all a bus is great at its job but you would not ask it to race a ferrari eh?,you can hardly expect a ground attack aircraft to be a fighter.
