I do not fly and aircraft and have only connections with aviation through my going to airshows and amateur photography. So at no point would I claim to know some of the things others know here. Thats mostly why I find it a good place to come as you do learn things from other,I would hate to see that side of things go.

I think most of the time comments are made not with malice or intent to offend, and should be seen as such. For me there’s too much cr*p in life to let words on a forum upset me really. But I do understand others take it personally which in the long run is not good for anyone or the forum.

I have been on this forum for around 9 years now and always have found it a valuable place to go to. However there is a risk of it becoming a so called gentlemans club or “Clique” and sarcasm does not help. If something should be seen as a joke maybe it should clearly be shown as so.

Its worth remembering that a forum needs new members to keep going, without that its a dead duck. I would like to see more tolerance to new members and help given instead of sarcasm. This can be a great place to come to with some members having such great expertise,skills,information etc to share.

Lets keep this forum as a friendly place and a successful one to be involved in.

Somehow Slade always seem to stay very underated by many. I was not old enough to have seen them live, but feel they had something really special.
Not sure Noddy Holder would ever agree to rejoin them(the rest still tour from time to time).

Probably best to enjoy the back catologue rather than hope for a final tour really, But if they do I am there.

Interesting if men do lose their humour around 40 or 50, However in the case as David Jason is not telling jokes and did not write the script I would not put it down to that. I would say poor writing and lack of imagination are the main cuplrits.
David Jason is now 71 and not really done much duff stuff in his career so I think we can let him off this one 😀

Totally agree with you there Der and I just hope for the sake of Scotland when that vote comes its a no,If not things will just be more messy.

I can understand national pride and wanting to be ruled less by the current government(we all want an alternative to that) I am just not sure how it benefits Scotland or anyone for that matter.
Does independence really exist these days? We are all tied in to Europe and the European Union laws and treaties etc. I think this will be a case of United we sink or divided we sink either way we in troubled waters.

I would of thougtht being United would be safer than being a smaller country at this time of economic troubles. Either way good luck Scotland in whatever you decide its a lovely part of Europe.
