I once worked with somebody who was called I.Hitler they refused to change it explaining that just because one person of evil had that surname why should they be ashamed. Big credit to them I say.

As to there being 39 living relatives of Hitler who gives a toss and what good does it do anybody knowing this? I am sure there are loads of living relatives to every evil person that has ever walked this earth and I think the last thing they need reminding of is that some distant relation was such a nasty piece of work, We can’t be blamed for our family historys can we?.

Nice photos of what was a really lovely day, Pity weather was not fantastic, We did not get there until 1330 as we missed the junction coming back from Stanstead to drop a friend off, saw the Hurribomber from the motorway and managed to be there for the Norway contingents show.
Was great to see two vampires together and to get such a chance to get close ups of so many static aircraft.

Lets hope this will lead to many more events at the lovely North weald.

    Great shots Anna and Victoria.
I am impressed with the Vulcan one, I managed to screw up the settings on my camera for that one and got several blurry versions, Well annoyed with myself for that.
It was a lovely show and so nice to see Sally B back in the air again.

Its strange but It seems brothers in a band are a bad idea. Whats happening to Oasis is very much the same as what Happened to The Kinks when Ray and Dave Davies had issues with each other. This went through the bands whole career and is still mentioned at least by Ray in interviews.

It must stem from sibling rivalry which often is both the creative strength of the band but the destructive influence also, It burns until a point where is eventually takes over.

In this case of Oasis Liam is a very good front man, But Noel is the better songwriter both wanting the limelight eventually something has to give Noel was that something.

I would say at some point Oasis will play together again and in the meantime expect Liam and Noel to do some solo stuff that will be far less successful.

Ted Kennedy crashed his car whilst drunk off Dike Bridge into the Poucha Pond inlet at Chappaquiddick and left the scene after saving himself and leaving 28 year old Mary Jo Kopechne to drown…he didn’t call the authorities ’till the next day after her body was found…yes he was a real class act alright

I was being polite about that but do agree, Always felt the whole family had a darker side.

Its an end of a era for the USA with his death.
It would be right to say he played a big part in politics in modern USA and that he was a colourful character with huge drive and passion, he also had that dark side of him and the kennedy’s bad luck problem that haunted them.

Certainly a interesting life and character though.

Thanks from all us POMs here.
I personally don’t mind being called a Pom when we are winning, Lets hope we get to be called this many more times when England goes for a winning streak, Well I can hope.
