I heard today that the doctors have said the eye is fine. I kinda agree and disagree about herr Schunacher however the car is technical, its a challenge to drive right now, however amongst the seemingly destruction of FIA, F1 needs a publicity boost and MS at Spa and Monza would be tremedous. Its kinda like the old football player who wonders if he still has what it takes, to compete. The F60 is a dud, however maybe with MS’s input he could wring a win out of the car, and give them useful information for next years car.

I agree his return to F1 is a good boost for a sport that is otherwise pulling itself apart, And it will I am sure bring a bit of interest from those who have given up on the sport lately.
I am still concerned that it maybe a up hill struggle for him in a car that just does not cut the mustard, But to be honest if anyone can make something of it its probably him, I just hope he still has at least some of that edge he had when he was on the top of his game.

Will make for an interesting end to the season if he can compete though as if he can win a bit it could help Button with the championship.

Awful story of one clearly very sick lady, Stories like this remind me that no matter how evolved we think we are as the human race we are still animals.

I also find it hard to have any sympathy for the person involved in this case, And I do not envy the doctors needing to make such a decision.
Its worth noting he had two illness or conditions not just one, Alcoholism is a ilness in itself and even if he had got a new liver he would have had to battle against that for the rest of his life.

To be fair I would rather such a organ was given to somebody who would stand more chance of making a go of their life and honour the person who donated it, The George Best thing still sickens me and show that you can’t always beat the demon drink and he wasted two livers not one to prove that, Which morally is so wrong.

Its stunning what medical abilities we have now and the fact we are discussing whether somebody should of had a liver transport or not shows how far this type of surgery has come. But even in 2009 we can’t save everybody and this case is one of those.

As to Michael Schumacher rejoining the sport, I always wonder about such moves, He is rightly a legend for his time in the sport but the sport has moved on since he retired. He is 40 now and the Ferrari is not really that competitve so other than for loyalty to Ferrari would there be any point being a also ran?.

I would rather see a younger driver given the seat for rest of season there’s little for Ferrari to lose by doing that.

It seem everything has its own conspiracy theorists pulling it apart, its part of the modern world. Its partly built on a distrust of everything our leaders tell us and partly built on the fact that people just like to knock achievement anyway.
I have always thought its amazing that the cold war literally led to man getting to the moon,It shows good did come from the bad in this case.
