Has there been any comparison between those gun holders north of the US border and those south of the Canadian border yet?
Always amused me that, despite having much the same cultural influences, there doesn’t appear to be the same enthusiasm in Canada for going out and gunning people – family, friends, work colleagues, schoolmates, strangers, etc – down like their southern counterparts.

(Waves the red rag about to entice the bulls…) And what about this bullocks about outlawing guns means only the criminals would have guns? How about the idea that allowing gun ownership would mean that only potential murderers have guns? ;o)

Its the story of fascist streetfighter Nicky Crane, the violence he dealt out and his alternative life as a quiet gay skinhead, outed by the anti fascist magazine Searchlight in 1985.
He appeared in a Channel 4 programme in 1992, denouncing his past, and died of AIDS in 1993.

Agreed BUT only if it reaches the same high standards as the first series.

Fawlty Towers will never be expanded upon. It was apparently made using the laws of comedy thought up by some old French comedian, the essential premise being that there are only so many basic plots available before you start reusing them – something that the soaps knew of and adapted many, many years ago.

And Ronnie Corbett? A miserable little bleeder, according to a mate who tried to get his autograph a couple of years ago. Met him myself in the early 90’s and he was not a very pleasant fellow even then. Best to say that the genius of the Two Ronnies died a few years ago and the survivor has been trying to get back into the spotlight again with the odd dreadful radio comedy, a few ‘guest’ appearances, and a few adverts dwelling on his height.
