Having taken a look, and found many properties at around £40,000 and less I would have said they are within reach of a large number of man-in-the-streets, but the commute would be lengthy and expensive.

Um, I was talking about the local average man in the street, not British migrants. What is the average wage in Bulgaria anyway?

Thinking appears not to be one of your strong points.

Maybe not, especially if what I’m thinking about you is any demonstration…;o)

Still, when you provide an answer we can stop speculating about you. But in the meantime do you dispute

    Going back a bit:

Then why do we increasingly hear atheists:
    -proclaim their superiority
-tell us over and over how bad all religions are
-how advanced they are by not believing in anything?

i/ Superiority? Look at those who push their religion in other peoples faces, requested or not – much more antisocial than god-bothering. Going around and informing people they don’t know that they will be going to hell UNLESS they let god into their heart is not very (for want of a better word) nice thing to do, wouldn’t you say?
Never had an atheist telling me that I’m not going to heaven…

ii/ Religions are bad – fact. So is politics. Political religions are the worst – look at those who make themselves god and rule their lands with not a care for the man at the bottom, like North Korea.
I am well aware that many might not share my declaration that religions are bad, even if they do not believe in them themselves, but look at the bad that has been brought about in the name of god (whichever one and by whatever name), the wars started by religious conflict and/or desire to rule over or bring about the extinction of another religious faction, the abuse inflicted on aboriginal peoples simply because they did not worship the same god and were therefore enslaved or forcibly converted.
And tongue in cheek (my own!) why is it that murderers and the like always find religion after being caught? Is it because they think that this might make things easier for them, either in prison or in the after life? Maybe religious prison visitors are an easy touch, or you get more freedom if you declare your belief. But it must be said that I wouldn’t want to join a ‘club’ that has that many dodgy members… Still, is does seem strange that people of faith, in positions of trust, noticeably abuse their positions – vicars and priests ignoring their vows and taking advantage of choirboys, stout members of society who were members of the church yet still embezzled or molested, etc.

iii/ The number of times I’ve had people I’ve had telling me that I am backward for not believing makes me dispute this one too. I don’t go around trying to convert gullible readers of a work of fiction – fine if they want to live their lives by it, but I really don’t subscribe to the huge plot holes, unbelievable and developed characters, the leaps of belief needed to allow the plot to proceed, and the dull story line.

    Ramble, rant.

I found quite a lot of property for sale in…BULGARIA. and cheap at that!!

Nothing to do with their cost still being out of reach to the average man in the street, as in Britain, then?

Sorry Charlie, really couldn’t be bothered to read the whole thread. Just wanted to wade straight in and demonstrate my own ignorance.

Your last question is asinine and will be treated as such.

So is that a yes or no?

I think its a yes, and maybe he already has…;o)

Homosexual pedophiles do not go to heaven, nor do false preachers, which is plainly stated in the Bible.

Really? Page numbers please or it never happened…;o)

Not that the bible never promoted homosexuality, rape, under age sex and incest…

Oh please– your entire post is a simplistic job of trolling by using straw-man type rhetoric for which you, and snafu above yours, can answer with, yeah but–yeah but–yeah but– yeah but– simplistic rationalizations no matter what answer/s you are given.

Yes, but you would say that, wouldn’t you, since you perceive that your opinion is different from mine.
My experience is that those not in favour of guns will be accused of not understanding the arguments of those in favour, and of running the argument down by repeatedly bringing up massacres of innocents.
