Yes, they are
Why wouldn’t top pilots elect to fly freight? Sounds pretty sweet to me, freight (well, the non-animal variety at least) doesn’t tend to throw up, get drunk, fight or moan
Wow! That EZY … just … wow! 😀
Is it in the fleet part-time ? … like loan or is it 100% part?
Just leased for the season, same as the Titan 767 and 757
G-CGMC who does this Belong to???
Eastern Airways
Very nice – anyone know if the Titan 767 being used by easyJet will be/has been repainted in easyJet colours? Haven’t seen any photos of it
Black and white shot with the Dragon Rapide and the control tower is stunning
The Fireflash had its flight deck in the tail fin and its engines (I think there were six) mounted atop the t-tail.
Now, what about that as an idea?
Pretty poor – trying to land the thing may be rather difficult!
Maybe they see no need to keep the 787 there for the public, seeing as the public haven’t been paying for this project like they are with the A380 therefore they do not have any obligation :diablo:
(I’m joking!)
So it should be doing plenty of public shows in the US then :p
Airwolf
Excellent news Rob,well done!
Thanks, and my new location should give me the chance to still volunteer on vintage aircraft, but at a new place
Just seen the photo – superb looking replica
As Ben says, and many others also have, get a degree! I’m on the same course as Ben, Aviation Management and Operations, got my results through a couple of days ago and yesterday had news that i’ve got my dream job at my dream company – not a historic company, but the shift patterns and amount of time off, as well as location, means i’ll hopefully be able to continue to be active with historic aviation, if not more so
Venom on it’s way to Waddington, what a scream!
It looked amazing in the evening sunlight after the public went home – didn’t get the chance to come over myself as I was busy with our display, I was with the Great War Society working with the RAFM staff
I wonder what sort of Tank was used at the Somme, Arras and Passchendaele prior to Cambrai! The ‘airplane’ was dropping bombs since 1911 at least
