I would post them, but sadly i don’t think i’ve ever taken a photo of a Shack in real life! Think my dads got some from when Air Atlantique ran up theirs at Cov at the classic airshow a few years back,i’ll try and dig them out.

Photographys always been rather difficult, but i imagine it will get a lot better when the building work is completed.

Can’t remember if it’s already been said, but Hawker Typhoon – Tiffie (be interesting if the Eurofighter is called this as well) and Gloster Meteor – Meatbox

Very nice, your right about the Concorde hangar, big shame, could have put the small airliners (Twin Pin, Devon e.t.c.) around it and it wouldn’t get in the way of seeing Concorde. The Bolingbroke is looking great by the way.

Yep i’ll be there, a Spitfire Mk IX, two P51 Mustangs and a P47 Thunderbolt doing displays. Looks like it’s going to be very good, the re-enactment battle should be good.

May just be me that thinks this, but i reccomend you don’t visit the ‘Museum of Peace’ in Caen. It’s expensive, and personally i thought it wasn’t that good at all, the only good thing for me was the replica Hawker Typhoon hanging from the roof, but it’s free to go into that bit (shop, foyer area)

Never heard of Flying Coffin for the Starfighter, but yes they were also known as ‘Widow Maker’

Judging by the Albatross outside, it shouldn’t be too badly damaged if it was tied down properly. The GMC CCKW truck in the hangar seems to have got off pretty well, at least from the side i can see.
