Thanks for that, cleared up one big mystery for me i’d been pondering for a few years!
Beautiful aircraft and great pics, didn’t realise the RAF still had T.4’s until recently, sad to see them retired before i got to see them 🙁
So, what actually happened to the original Blenheim that crashed back in 1988? It’s not the one being restored by the IWM or the one being restored to fly that crashed recently, because there both Bolingbrokes, or maybe it was a complete write off?
And the same can’t be said for your stealth/airshow planes?
What do you mean? Hang on…. you don’t think im a yank do you?

Ouch! Well, they do look rather nice in silver or camo, depends what angle you view them from really. I really like the forerunners, the two that are preserved at Cosford, P.1A and the Shorts SB.5 i think theyre called.

Ooo got one! Lightnings! No offence but they look like a chubby Mig 21!

Well, i was about twelve at the time! 😀
Yep, luckily i can now look to the skies without fear of being blinded by an ugly aircraft 😀 Unless a Jumbo jet flies over, that is

If he means flinging it about, doing loop the loops e.t.c., why not? It’s what they were designed to do, and there very good at it, a lot more interesting than watching it just fly in a straight line!
Most probably the Fairey Gannet ASW version, it’s so ugly i can’t believe anyone could like it, i’m surprised it even flies!
