Hopefully won’t be much damage, most if not all of the aircraft are displayed outside. I wish to go there sometime, hopefully non of the aircraft are damaged.
The Halifax and Stirling are much more attractive than the Lanc, well not the early Halifaxes but the III onwards look great 😀 Although i do like the Lancastrian
Would be nice, and a Bristol Brigand, theres one at the Bristol Collection (fuselage) so wonder if they’ll restore that
Very nice, i love Hurricanes!
The same happened with the Spirit of St Louis replica that crashed at the Cov airshow in 2003, the first airshow i’ve ever been to (and the only so far) and i witnessed the terrible crash, i couldn’t believe my eyes as the wing snapped off. Sadly the pilot later died in hospital
Beautiful, i love Halifaxes
Making it’s first appearance in 2006 at Leg Ends should be myself, Rlangham! Finally hoping to get myself down there, if i have a car by then, maybe i’ll even pluck up the courage to meet you lot 😀
Ahah, i think that might have been the aircraft used in the Mr Toad film i’ve been trying to find!
Brum with some mates on Saturday, apart from that probably relaxing, for the next few weekends i’ve got Bruntingthorpe, then the weekend after going to the Assault Glider Project open day at RAF Shawbury, then possibly the Victory Show here in Leicestershire, theres going to be some flypast, one i’m looking forward to is the Thunderbolt from Duxford, never seen one fly before

Just got back from getting my AS results, a D in General Studies, E in English, E in History and a U in Physics! Ah well, it still gets me into year 13 so i’m not complaining, at least now i can relax for the rest of summer 😀

Wow, the A10 is one strangely beautiful aircraft! Great shots btw Damien
It’s a shame about the price, i love Vulcans and can’t wait to see XH558 fly again, although if i have enough after this weekends shopping in Brum i might pay to have a look
Just out of interest, does anyone know of a model of a Tupolev Tu-16 ‘badger’? The only one i can find is the Trumpeter one with some sort of ugly maritime nose, and a Russian 1/144 kit but apparently thats a dog of a kit.
