Signs sucked. Period. Methinks M. Night Shyamalan’s halo has slipped slightly with his last couple of efforts.
I enjoyed WotW, and have to say that after a thorough de-brief from a mate of mine who is more versed in the original version, found it was quite close in most aspects to the original story. Tom Cruise didn’t suck too much either, although Dakota Fanning did scream an awful lot more than I would have liked.
On a side note, there are three other versions of War of the Worlds in production: one by Pendragon Pictures, another straight-to-video version, and an adaptation of the Jeff Wayne musical version.
Wow! the war of the worlds by pendragon looks bloody brilliant!
My sunburn from the saturday before was another reason i didn’t go…. my feet have swollen twice the size of normal! Still, means i’ve got a few days off sixth form (be a bit hard to go, hurts to walk and can’t fit my feet in my trainers!)
Nice! Was gonna go, but unexpectedly ended up staying at a mates on saturday night so didn’t get back till 5pm today!
Don’t know if im going, but if i do ill come over and say hey. Any chance for a tour around the T-6 or Beech?
For some reason the Vulcan at Duxford seems kind of small compared to how big other Vulcans are when i see them, like the ones at Hendon and Cosford. Then again, its probably because of the sheer size of the buildings and aircraft around the Vulcan at Duxford. Beautiful aircraft though
Wow, didn’t expect the undercarriage to look like that when it was down! Beautiful aircraft, shame i won’t be at legends
Will the Beech be there then? Always look forward to seeing her, an interesting addition to the cold war jets. How about the Harvard? Haven’t seen that before either.
I think he means the Beech 18 at Brunty thats with the Harvard
Wow, those replicas really do look good! Couldn’t tell the real ones from the replicas in the film, or if they just used cgi or used the flying Spits over and over again.
The four Naval Museums have also a themed area in the park, one of the exhibits is Firefly Z2033.
What four naval museums? I can only think of two, the Fleet Air Arm Museum and HMS Belfast
Great film, just been watching it. Not ttoo sure about the RAF B-25’s in polished silver, but they did the best with what they had. CGI is great and the clips from battle of britain and memphis belle fit in very well. One question though, what is the Czech biplane trainers used at the beginning of the film? Must be quite a few of them around, look a bit like Tiger Moths so maybe modifications of them?
I believe its the very same location, at least i would have thought so because of the precise location (hole 8) on the golf course
Probably means Sally B and the Saab B-17
Shame theres no live video link 🙁 ah well
Are they actually going to have a stripped down Spitfire, or is it just some sort of metaphor?
