Nice, haven’t been there in a long time, think it needs another visit soon. How was the building of the Cold War exhibition going, anything been put inside yet? It’ll be good to see the Twin Pin again

Have to agree with Hairyplane, the Gipsy makes any aircraft powered by it beautiful (Tiger Moth, Auster I and III, Messenger, Magister, need I go on!)

All quiet on the Robbo front.Incoming expected

Um, isn’t this post intentionally provoking a reaction from Robbo using a topic that hasn’t been posted in in five days

Well thanks to Moggy’s rather nice post I think I might be swayed now – by the way a mates mate is a dead ringer for Susannah York, but a brunette (hmmmm…)

Am I alone in thinking that Susannah York isn’t really that pretty? I mean i’m sure she’s a nice person but if you ask me i’d rather sleep with Michael Caine (and no, i’m not that way inclined)

The Spitfire Mk 26 is actually a new build sports aircraft which is a reduced scale Spitfire, some more info here http://www.supermarineaircraft.com/About.htm

Have you spoke to the owners of Alpha-Foxtrot and Alpha-Charlie about using their concorde? Would have thought they wouldn’t be too happy about taking away their Concorde as it’s an excellent visitor attraction, and Alpha-Foxtrot no doubt creates a fair bit of revenue for the Bristol Aero Collection which they’ll find very useful in restoring their other lovely aircraft

Just out of interest, which Concorde will your group supposedly be bringing back to the air?

Damn, I wasted twenty minutes cheating the voting system for nothing! By the way, I swear the pic of Concorde they used says ‘Britisb’

Looked at the IMDB page for it, looks like it’s the same cast as before, with Face being replaced by the guy that played face in the first two episodes of A team (Wouldn’t be the same without Mr T) – although apparently it’s going to be a comedy, just like all old American tv shows turned into modern movies (Starsky and Hutch, Charlies Angels etc)
