I didn’t use any font, but I just overpainted the letter E and made a new Y pixel by pixel. :p

I used the Flight Simulator Repaint program for FS2004 which I bought some time ago. But there is also a good freeware repaint program available on the net. See this other tread on the flightsim forum:

    http://forum.airforces.info/showthread.php?t=27298

If you want the new texture, please send me a PM and I’ll try to send you the replacement textures as soon as possible.

Ah Seahawk, welcome here. I am happy you found your way! 🙂 I thought you might have some nice warbirdshots after seeing your pic of the spitfire on the modern militairy forum. Its good to see the Duke of Brabant’s B25. Thanks for sharing these nice photos here.
You may intrude here again in such a way if you can.

    Cheers,

    Papa Lima

Thanks for doing the merge. I had only scanned the two pages and then posted them separately. My Photoshop moment was going to be the creation of a twin boom Spit. If I get the time, which is rare.

And it is appreciated! Nice Photo there Merlin70 and Papa Lima. I’ll save that one from Mr. Paver quickly!

I found a easy jet Boeing 737- 700 from easyJet at http://www.flightsim.com. Registration was G-EZJE. It is a basic model of AI-project and has moving flaps and landinggear. It has no 3D panel (only 2D). No sound is included bust you could use the default sound of the FS2004 or FS2002 Boeing 737-400. The plane works in both FS2002 and 2004. The filename of this plane was tu73easy.zip.

I think the only difference between the plane you want and the one which is available is the registration. So I worked on that a bit and changed it. So now I have the textures of this AI-aircraft which represent G-EZJY.

If the quality of the aircraft is good for you, I can send you the modified textures.

    Just let me know.

PS: Do you notice the change before and after? 😉

    Greets,

The scenery of Braschaat (ebbt) In Belgium had the same problem when I installed the scenery on the Netherlands version 2.9 in FS2004. This problem was solved when a new addon-scenery of braschaat became available in 2 versions. For users who didn’t have the scenery of the Netherlands version 2.9 and the ones who did have the addon-scenery and had the problem with the runway which was around 3 feet higher than the terrain. This special addon solved the problem and the runway was at the groundlevel again.

The person who made this addon scenery is Nils Lips. The file that cured the problem was brasscht.zip which can be found at flightsim.com. This Nils Lips has a homepage which is: http://www.freewebs.com/bwairlines/

I didn’t find a e-mail link on that page, but there is a small forum there and a chatbox. The link is correct because this Nils Lips also makes repaints for BWairlines. The username of Nils Lips on that tiny forum is BW-Nils and I think it is easy to post a question there. So maybe you could contact him and explain your problem which looks very simular to the one I had with the scenery of braschaat. Maybe he can help you.

    Good Luck,
    J.V.

No, I don’t know someone right now. But maybe this can help. There is a small freeware program which makes it easy to do the repaints at home. It is a editor which can be used in combination with for example paintshop pro. Its available at most FS sites (such as flightsim.com) and filename is:

    dxtbmp45.zip

Its realy easy and It is the perfect start for a repainter.

Hopfully this can help a bit.

Nice craft Papa Lima. And with a speed of 40 knots! 😎 I can’t help but thinking about the german E-Boats of WW2. Its great to see you still use boats like the StridsbÃ¥t 90H over there!

Aerobatics seems to be all Typhoon is good at so could work maybe a 4 ship and they could do a routine bit like the Turbulent team with flour bombing too,it could be great

    Red Arrows anno 2007 😮 :p :

I heard (in UK) that the Reds are thinking of re-equiping with the TYPHOON after it goes into gen Squadron use????

But if they do that, should the team hold its current number of aircraft? I think the Typhoon is more expensive to operate compared to a Hawk?

Silver grey makes it look retro style, like the old PC-3 in blank aluminium. Nowadays they have to paint them to create that look.

If you like the retro stuff; then here is one more for you taken at Antwerp during may:

I use the freeware Flight Simulator Scenery Creator made by Derek Leung which is a good basic program and easy to use for those who arent used to make scenery for FS2002 and FS2004.

Maybe that payware programs get a bit more detail and options, but I am pleased with this freeware program.
