I believe those screenshots come from that combat simulator you mentioned in the other tread. It does look very good to me. Thanks for those images mixtec.

The planes of the Battle of Britain Memorial flight which are included in this pack should be working in Microsoft CFS2 so they could be used in a combat simulator.

All you can do is try it out, but as speedbird 12T said, there are seperate versions available for FS2002 and also for FS2004. So I don’t think all the features of Traffic 2000 will work in FS2002. But I think there is no harm in trying to install it. You have nothing to loose.

I don’t think the pack is compatible with FS2004. I’ve flown it in FS2002 and it was very good in this simulator. I’ve installed it in my FS2004 but the model and cfg file seem to have problems in FS2004. The moving parts don’t work in FS2004.

Take a look at BBMF Hurricane PZ865 which is not standing on its wheels and you can’t see the propeller. By the way, the screenshot has been taken when the engine was not running!

    So I don’t think it can work for 100% in FS2004. 🙁

Its about time we close this chapter here in Belgium. The investigation and the trail took many years and I think a lot of people feel relieved that it is coming to a end. And that includes the victimes.

As the Red devils parachute team could move to Duxford, they might consider to add a act to their invenorty. I was at La Ferte last month and saw a jump of paratroopers from a DC3 that should have represented the drop above St Mere Eglise. They all used modern, colourfull parachutes and I didn’t like that. Maybe the team could equip itself with old green militairy parachutes so that they can play such a scene in a more authentic way at a Duxford show. It’s only a idea you see. 😉

Not me, I,m a paying member, but I can understand the frustration. I had that once and I feel stupid about the fact that I need to pay. In the past my internetprovider billed me for each minute I surfed and If I needed to try to login at this site for 30 minutes, it cost me a lot of money. So I only payed the site so that I didn’t need to pay too much to my provider. Easy acces should be free!

I think the bad acces for non paying members is the only (but important) negative point of this site.

This is great news. It will be a sight at Breighton. It will be nice sight to see their local hurricane, spitfire and buchon together in the air.

I looked at G-INFO and the spit still needs to get a new certificate of airworthyness, just like their buchon. Let us hope they get the paperwork done in time to participate in this years events!

Thanks for this good news Chris.

The biggest fillebrary on commercial aviation is at http://www.flightsim.com

I suggest you take a free membership over there and search the file librarys over there. They have excelent airbus planes, cessna citation, cesna 150,… there for FS2004. Also some nice FS2002 planes work fine in FS2004 such as the Jetstream 31 filename jetstr10.zip is very good.
Small airplanes such as robin 400 … can also be found there. Just write the aircrafttype you want in she search page.

    Other good freewaresites are:

    http://www.fsfreeware.com
    http://www.simviation.com
    http://www.sim-outhouse.com

I wil browse a bit myself.
