Ah, found out myself it was owned by this Peter Meyreck! π Well, I’ll will write Sywell as its base for now. Maybe someone else can confirm that thought for you yak11 fan. π
Thanks,
J.V.
Thanks for that comfermation Yak11 fan. In the Flypast of may 2004 it is reported to be owned by Peter Meyrick, but at a unconfirmed location. (See the warbirds directory in this issue) Does someone know from which airfield it operates?

You figured it right futurshox. You had some lovely planes over there. Nice to see that Waco. Isn’t that T6 actualy a Harvard MKIII (G-BGOR)? Wasn’t it owned at one time by Martin Sargeant? I like this plane and its paintsheme. Does someone know where it is based now?

Now, I’ve posted one of my pics to that site. It’s the one of Hawker Fury MKI G-BKBB which is stored in Belgium now. I’ve seen that some pics have been posted of La Ferte as well. Seems to me this site will expand soon. π
Thanks Setter.
Thatβs all for now folks, ta very much.
For now? Is there still more to come? π Seems like you enjoyed posting those nice pics here.
Also a Thank you for Snapper!

The plane is a bit difficult to taxi in FS2004 but that is mostly because it has no brakes. You don’t need to be scared to be blown of the taxiway! π
Well, if they want to do it right, lets give them the time they need to get the connie rady for the full 100% I think I can wait just a little bit longer.
Thanks for this update tenthije.

The question is if it is going to fly at the show in Volkel which iw taking place on 18-19 june. π Do they work fast over there?

Great photo’s! Thanks for sharing!

And it is good news that a P39 will fly again in Europe. I saw TFC p63 kingcobra displaying at Duxford in 2000 and I loved it. So its nice to read that the classic bell-shape is due to return here! π
I wish the best to TFC and a safe operation of the type on the Airshow scene in the UK and Europe.
Thanks Setter. There are nice pics over there. Mostly from planes in New Zealand and Australia. I hope that the future might bring some more pics from other places in the world to that site.
But I’ve placed it with my favorites. Its a bit like airliners.net for warbirds.
Thanks for the link setter.

Thanks swiss mustangs, now I know what a seahorse is! π It would have been a nice museum object if it hadn’t baan scrapped. I wil place this info in my new database.
Greets,
J.V.
This is the first I hear about a ‘Seastang’ as you could call it. Does this type have a sepperate name (spitfire became seafire so this mustang became … ) Does someone have a picture of this converted type. It does look interesting to me! Was this experimental plane tested succesfully on carriers? Any info about it should be nice!
Thanks to feed my knowlege Papa Lima! π
Greets,

It’s a Hind. I assume it’s the Shuttleworth one as I don’t know any others. At least, it was supposed to be a Hind.
I posted details of the display on another thread.
Thanks for this info dhfan!

Intresting pictures Andrewman. But can someone tell me which biplane(type) is pictured on the last photo of Andrew’s hird post? Looks like a nice plane to me. Could it be TFC Hawker Nimrod or am I wrong?
