Great link there about this Huey Rlangham. I think this source will give much info about this machine!
Thank you!

OK Roger. Got the mail! It looks good! Thanks. 🙂
Zoot horn rollo; following your reply, I googled a bit and there is an american registered Huey in the UK being NX41574 cn 72-21509. It could be this one.
I wonder where it is based.
Nice!

Thanks guys. A good start. Are there any helicopters active in a historic flight?
There are several Bell helicopters still alive. Thanks for the tip Roger.
And the CofA of G-HUEY is expired for some time now if I look at G-INFO. Could there be another Huey in the UK which is not on the british register?

Even Paint Shop Pro is easy to put text on a picture. Yet another way to do it.

I hope our local man will keep this forum up to date. I’m looking forward to read and see some great stuff about this nice collection.

Warbird resource group lists 27 Spitfire MKV survivors (at least 3 of those survivors are wrecks and far from complete). But I don’t know how up to date their database is.
But if you consider the number of jbs and the list at WRG, you should have a good idea about the total number of surviving MKV spits.

Here is what I heard 2 weeks ago:
The Fougas are reported to retire at the end of this year, but the Colonel who flies the solo displays hopes to keep one in flying condition until the open door at Beauvechain in 2006 for a farewell display.
So officialy they retire by the end of this year, but the desk piloting colonels just have a soft spot for this machine and can’t let her go so easely.

Thanks for the link Ramon. Another BAF type that ends his career in Belgium. I also like the picture of the 2 Fouga Magisters (the other type which will end it’s flying career soon 🙁 ).
Nice souveniers.

This airframe was reported to be in the Netherlands in 2003. Maybe it is still there?
Maybe some dutch member may have a pic?
I have found the dutch adress from where the plane was in 2003. If you want it, just PM me.

Yes, that spitfire chase and hurricane display where the highlights on saturday and they will stay in my memory for a long time. Simply wonderfull.

So that is why the T33 and F86 couldn’t be at the koksijde airshow in belgium on saturday. Don’t worry, I saw the pair on sunday. :p
Nice pics BTW! 😉
Cheers,
Stieglitz
My first flight ever was for my 15th birthday in 1996 with a Robin DR400 registered as OO-TOY.
My first flight in a vintage plane was in a DH82a Tiger Moth in 2002 (OO-TGM).

Small addition: The planes where allowed to fly a few 100 meters closer to the public line copared to the previous years. The biggest enemy to take good pics (as said before) is the sun. So there has been some improvement.
Just to be correct! 😉

The runway and flying is still very far from the public zone. But since last year, you can buy a special spotters ticket (which gives you acces on the airfield from friday until sunday in a special spotters corner closer to the flying machines) but this is rather expensive IMHO.

Good pics here Fly Fort. If you consider that most of the day, you need to take pics against the sunlight. Sadly, today the Mig 29 stayed on the ground due to a technical problem.
Did you take a pic of the Flying Legends team (the WW2 trainers?).
