Thanks for this info NC900! I have learned something new today. I’m glad at least one survived. With more than 60 built (or repaired), the NC900 is an important post war evolution of this famous fighter.
Thanks,
Stieglitz
Thanks Dave! I’m glad you share some of your knowledge about german aircraft again! 🙂
Are there pics about any NC.900 in service and how long did the french use their Focke Wulfs?

Thanks for the link DGH. I missed that tread. So G-APOY shure isn’t the only one with this configuration. 😎

It’s the first time I see wheelcaps at a chipmunk (look at G-APOY). Is this a configuration which can be found on other (military) Chipmunks?

This french based Morane Saulnier MS505 Storch came in on Sunday. It came in from the nearby field of Shaffen Diest. The plane fought against the wind and achived a cruse speed of 35mph. The short distance flight took more than 2 hours time. So a great achivement from the pilot. This aircraft won this years best aircraft award.

Some planes seen here on sunday:

This T6G from the Stampe museum Showed up on saturday evening:

Some Yak52’s attended the event. They are still a rare sight here in Belgium.
G-CBSS made a public debut. This machine arrived in Belgium earlier this year:
It was joined by G-BCSR which came from Kortrijk-Wevelgem:
