    I’ve posted this pic before, but I think it fits here too. Here is my Tiger with the unique name: CAT 😉

    You can’t say that the name CAT is as original as Brussels isn’t it Comet , but …. euh 😮

    Yes, you are not the only one who would love to see the Brussels museum Hurricane MKII in it’s original BAF sheme. 😎

    Thanks for the correct serial Paul. The photo is of such poor quality that I couldn’t read it properly. Any thoughts about the serial of the other 2 BAF Hurricane MKII’s?

    I’ve never contacted BAHA before. Maybe this quest is a good reason to do so.

    It’s strange to see that so little is known about (what I believe) is a important historic aircraft in the history of the BAF.

    Hey srpatterson,

    As you have experienced, you just can’t trust fathers (in law) to take pictures. I also learned this lesson the hard way.

    Just to be shure about one thing guys, I would of course feel a lot better if this great plane would be preserved as a flying plane. I can’t disagree that the aircraft may have a bit of an uncertain future.
    I still hope the new owner has good facillities to display the aircraft and that it is kept in top condition. Maybe it’s wishfull thinking, but it they take good care for her, it might fly again in 2020??? 😮

    And yes, that Mosquito story is a sad one … 🙁

    The registration for that Bucker in the first pic is G-BJAL

    And that thing marked 97+04 is a Putzer Elster B with registration G-APVF. 😉

    That was quick F3Hadlow. It’s nice to see some more of your great pics here! That first shot showes a very nice Bucker Jungmann. Does someone know its registration? I love the sheme on that plane and want to learn more about it.

    Any idea who the new owner is in Guam and (where) will it be placed on display?

    It’s always a bit sad when a historic plane like this is going to be grounded, but at least it’s future is certain and it will be preserved (static) for the future.
