I find that the Halifax is a nice exhibit, even in it’s partialy restored state. At least, the museum takes good care for the airframe. It’s unique and a nice way to commemorate the wartime bomber crews.

It would be geat to have a spitfire back in France. I was a bit sad to see Jaquards previous spitfire MK XIV departing to the UK and later to the USA. So if it is true, it’s great news.

That early decoy shurly looks very basic VoyTech. It seems that the standards for the quality of the decoys also made a great progress during the war.

Ae there other aircraft exhibits at the Airbourne Forces museum which will move? Or is the Dakota their only aircraft on show?

Why do publishers do this? Maybe to get the book on the shelves shortly after the first flight. This is hot news and hot news sells. Maybe the second print will have a better cover.

That book could be a nice report of this aircraft. Certainly interesting.

For me, the highlights have been:

    1. Joining this forum, learning from it and meeting some other members.
    2. Attending the airshow at La Ferte and Lelystad! Those where stunning shows which I hope to attend again next year.
    3. Succeeding to bring a spitfire to the WAW event in Belgium.
    4. First flights (or returns) of RNHF Sea Fury, TFC Hawk, Flugg Werke FW190, a DB Buchon in Germany, …

I also want to thank all the members for the help they have given me in my many quests for knowledge, … I hope next year will be as exciting as 2004 has been. 🙂

    Regards,

Well, I’m sure once we all get it (well, those of us who want to get it, anyway) will give it a thorough going over with a full report! 😉

(Which gives me an idea – Webby, how about a review forum??)

Or if there is a lot of protest against yet another forum, you can always start a revieuw tread here. I think it would be a good idea to have some FS reviews here.
