Thanks again,

I don’t think they will use that 767 tow bar twice for an Airbus A330.
You mean that this is a genuine Oscar which has been rebuild with new parts. 😉 Great! Which engine was used in this rebuild. Is it the original japanese type or an american piston engine (P&W)?

There might just only exist some rumours about this Yusuf Islam person. And being converted to the Islam is not a reason to accuse anybody from possible terorism. This act could be another excuse for real potential bad people to prove that the US is against ther religion.
Every country must try to secure itself from terrorism. But they better think twice before they act in such way. Drastic measures always have consequenses. You must know in advance that if you deny the entry into the US to a famous Islam person like Cat Stevens, that everybody around the world is going to hear about it. Not a very tactfull diplomatic act.

The second good news message today! 🙂 I am glad this nice B17 is airborne again so soon. A great accomplishment!

Great news! Another rare type almost airborn. It looks stunning! 😎

Nice Idea. A unusual paint sheme would definetly be noticed. But I hope to see a real Hunter in Blue Diamonds livery in the sky. (That would be a change if I compare it to the one I got in flightsimulator)
J.V.
It was spot on for me.
Anyway, Jochen, you are too busy doing research for me to bother about anything else!
Ah, Now I know what can save me from doom. The quest for knowledge. Now I’ve seen the light. I’ll certainly will be back in full force for some research on friday. You may count on me Peter. I’ll send you a mail. 🙂

Keep clear of girls, Jochen, they’re nothing but trouble!
Certainly if I must introduce myself as the ‘new dad’. That just might cause some serious misunderstanding. I might just need to stay low for a few weeks. 😮
PS: I do hope ihis test isn’t always THAT accurate. That could be scary in some cases ….
Cheers,
J.V.
Not for me. The result is that I am: ‘The new dad’.
Did I discover the real me here! 😮
HELP ME! 😮 😉
J.V.
Great photo’s! I’m glad you where able to post them after all.
Greets,
J.V.
Thanks for that link Peter. I had not found that one yet. 🙂
Allan, thanks for that interesting info about AAF units and about that crest. I know that they where a bit different when they where painted on the Hurricanes, but I did not have a clear image of any crest of 601sq. The only one I have is low quality image of a crest on a Hurricane MKI, but I think they looked simular on a MKIIb. See below:
Thanks guys,
J.V.
Nice pics again Mark. That T6/zero seems to have a great sheme! 😎 Those black/white shots of those Nord Me108’s looks like authentic WW2 pics.
J.V.
I know Bruggen 130 took some nice air to air pics. Maybe you could send a personal message and ask him.
Welcome to this forum BBMF.

Interesting pic eddywinch82,
Update on the Vormezeele collection:
– Me109 still hasn’t flown yet! 🙁
– Morane Saulnier MS505 is sold to a new german owner.
– A wreck of a Friesler storch has been bought and is currently stored.
– The only active airshow participent this year was the Fiat G46. see this link for some pics of its appearence at the Lelystad airshow:

The attendence of the Buchon at WAW was cancelled one month before the event took place. If some news about any progress on the Me109 (Buchon) becomes available, I will post it here. For now, I heard the tailsection needed a overhaull. So maybe more luck next year. 😮
